I have been going to Dr. Pletcher and Dr. Watkins for about a year now, after my coworker recommended them. I could not ask for two more educated and friendly doctors who genuinely care about my health as well as how great their incredible office staff are to every patient. I am 27 years old and herniated a disc while running. I was so upset that this could happen to me at such a young age and was about ready to give up after going to several orthopedic doctors, physical therapy, and receiving two epidurals in my spine, yet still feeling pain daily. Dr. Pletcher was going to be my last try and boy am I glad I went to see him. Through manipulation and FMS, he has been the only one who was able to help me become pain free and get back to running 5Ks in no time. I also owe a big thank you to Healthquest due to the fact that I was recently in a bad car accident and they were on the phone with me immediately telling me how important it was for me to get microcurrent in order to help my injuries and prevent other health issues arising later on in life. They have helped me get back on my feet not just once, but after both major injuries occurred and I can’t thank them enough for not only treating me, but truly caring about my well being.

When the bandage was removed a week after surgery to remove ganglions from my palm, it was apparent that an infection had occurred. The wound was an oozing, angry looking sight. I was put on a course of antibiotics but to no avail. Then I was given a stronger antibiotic, but that too proved ineffective. I was instructed to soak my hand in table salt and water several times daily, was given various topical medications, applied peroxide frequently--but one month later the wound was unchanged. Nothing was working. My daughter, a long-time patient of Dr. Pletcher, mentioned my situation. Dr. Pletcher suiggested he might be able to help. Though frankly skeptical, I did see Dr. Pletcher. After one FSM treatment, I was amazed. The wound was not as inflamed as it had been. After two treatments there was definite improvement. Five weeks later the wound was healed. Im very grateful to my daughter and to Dr. Pletcher--and to this incredible technology!

My entire family has been going to both Dr. Pletcher and Dr. Watkin for the past 10 years. My husband was injured on the job (as a firefighter) and began seeing Dr. Pletcher after being told by an orthopedic doctor that he "couldnt do anything more" for him. Within 2 months, my husband felt 95% more mobility! I have seen both doctors as well as our 3 sons. What I love the most about this practice and these doctors is the way they treat the entire person, not just the physical injury or issue. Their knowledge about nutrition, supplements and their care for your emotional health is something Ive never received anywhere else. I have referred numerous friends to this practice. Their office staff are friendly and their FSM therapist, Jane, is the best, very caring and kind. These are the docs I call for any type of injury, illness or just for information and advice. I reached out to Dr Pletcher because of issues with my gall bladder. After a series of tests my doctor determined it just wasnt working properly and they wanted to do surgery to remove it. After reading story after story about people having their gall bladders removed and still having pain and issues I want to try something besides surgery to get my health back on track. It was actually my grandfather, a retired Chiropractor, who recommended Dr Pletcher to me. After just one visit, I was feeling much better. I had some injuries as a young child that may have lead to some of my pain and current condition. Dr Pletcher took the time to discuss things with me and let me know what to expect and why Chiropractic and other natural treatments may just fix my issues without the need for surgery. We started gong to Dr. Pletcher when my son was 2 and having issues with allergies and speech. He helped him tremendously. Then when my son was 14 we came back to Dr. Pletcher and Dr. Watkins for manipulation and microcurrent due to all of his soccer injuries. They both have been incredible. And I am a HUGE advocate for the FSM microcurrent! I had foot surgery and got treated daily immediately after the surgery and my stiches needed to come out almost a week early due to the quickness in healing because of the microcurrent. My son and I are very thankful for both Dr. Pletcher and Dr. Watkins and everyone at Health Quest.

In addition to sharing patients with Dr Pletcher for 20+ years, gratefully with much success and coordinated care, I have personally been a patient of his for that time as well. Greatful shoutout to my Friend Dr. Jeff Watkin the absolute BEST chiropractor in Lake County. I struggled most of last week with lower back pain to the point if having to go to the ER, where they just pumped me full of meds and sent me home still twisted like a pretzel. I went visit Jeffs office in Libertyville yesterday afternoon where he adjusted me; less than 24 hrs later My back is again straight and the pain is gone. If you need a chiropractor go see him.

Exceptional place, exceptional people. I have been going for years to Health Quest for nutritional support as well as for headaches and back pain. Dr. Pletcher has helped me through my journey to a gluten free diet and I feel so much better. Dr. Watkins has been instrumental in helping me with an analysis of my walking gait and picking foot orthotics. They are both the best as well as the entire staff. Still going and love it.
