When I entered the clinic, I was in pain and looking for somebody to help me out. What I found was a knowledgeable, caring, and concerned professional in the person of Dr. John Panopoulos. He asked all of the right questions and made the correct assessments. He seemed to know what to expect on the questions that he asked and honed his treatments correctly based upon a vast knowledge base. He advised me on exercises that I should do at home. Coupled with his treatments and adjustments, I was soon pain free and discharged. I will continue to do the at-home treatment s along with other devices suggested to use by Dr. John. I had no idea of what to expect when I entered. I was impressed by the staff and by the professionalism of Dr. John. It was a great experience and would recommend that office for anybody needing chiropractic help. Thanks for helping me out!!-Wayne

My wife has been a patient of this office for a few years now and has been recommending this office to her friends. Dr. John is very compassionate and has incredible insight. With that said, our three year old daughter has been experiencing some health issues and Dr. John advised my wife that he offers evaluations for toddlers and we went ahead and brought our daughter in to see him. Apparently doctor John has a lot of experience in alternative medicine and we have been impressed with some of the finding that we discovered during our visits and the progress that is being made by our daughter. We are extremely pleased with the service we receive at this office and would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a great experience.

I’m a current patient at Active Health in Park Ridge. As of today (5/28/14) my wife became a current patient as well. When my wife complained about her back hurting I called and got an early morning appointment. By the time she left the office she was feeling a lot better and the pain was at a managed level. Getting back to the car she felt better still. Dr. John and Dr. Betty are both excellent doctors, the really know their field. When someone asks me about a chiropractor, I dont hesitate to give them the name of Active Health. After today, my wife feels the same way.

I experienced a work related back injury some time ago. Initially, I took the medical approach to solving the problem, but after coming to Oakton Chiropractic and being treated by Dr. John Panopoulas, I quickly realized where the relief was coming from. Few people end up in a career that completey suits their talents. That statement does not apply to Dr. John. He has found his calling and his skill and gentle touch can alleviate any ache, pain, or stiff joint. If youre hurting, try Dr. John and Oakton Chiropractic.

Dr John was a great doctor. He discussed all the possibilities that could be causing the pains I was having and explained what he would be doing to alleviate them. He recommended exercises that could be done between visits that would help to alleviate the pains and help the body for adjustments. He doesnt stop treatment until he knows youre better. I never had to wait for my appointments and his staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend his office to anyone seeking a chiropractor.-Iris

Betty has been such a great motivator for me. As her patient I am currently visiting her on a weekly basis for the Ideal Protein Diet. I have had such amazing results from this product. I would have been able to do it without Bettys help and support I have officially lost a bit over 45 lbs. with in 4 months. Its a great location right off the highway 294, plenty of parking, and great service. I would and have recommenced people to this office and encourage others to go.

I found Active Health and Dr. John, tried them out based on the reviews I read online. I was looking for something close to home making it easier for me to get to their office. They are worth a drive now that I know about how well they treat you. My experience thus far has been very good and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for care. My husband and I have been going to Dr John for over a year now. We commute over 30 minutes each way after we relocated but it is worth it. The treatment we receive brings great relief to our areas of discomfort. It is very easy to get an appointment and he takes his time to ensure your needs are met and questions are answered. We recommend him highly.

What I appreciate most is that Dr. Panopoulos takes his time with you and goes through all the possibilities of what could be going on that may be causing your pain. He genuinely cares.
