This place is the most convenient dental office in the area. Theyre open super late. I go in, the assistant cleans my teeth. I wait for the dentist. He talks to me for like a minute, and then I leave. It takes all of like an hour to an hour and a half. I have never had any problems with them, even though I have always had problems with my teeth and gums in the past. Ive been doing absolutely fine ever since I started going here. My gums are healthier than they have been in years. They have never tried selling me any outrageous and unnecessary procedures. The only aggravating thing that has ever happened was when my insurance changed, and I gave them the card during my visit, but the girl at the desk didnt actually do anything with it, so they tried to charge my old insurance, and every time I called, whoever I got kept not actually doing anything about it. After complaining 3 or 4 times, it was taken care of, and they charged the correct insurance. I have never owed a dime. The new dentist also helped me figure out what has been going on with my lower gum line all these years, when Ive thought it was my fault my entire life. And (surprise) he didnt force me into any sort of procedure to fix it. People here are claiming that any positive review is a false review, but Im hoping that people will reconsider and make an educated decision. Especially if you work full-time, this place is great.

Thank you Family Dental in Wood River. Tell her what she won, Bob. She won a grueling 2 -3 hours in the dentist. But thats not all... this package also includes two shots to the gums, and who doesnt love grinding and pulling and pushing. Shes going to walk away with a sore jaw and a giant headache. Congratulations! ..... Heres the fine print: We didnt tell you four months ago, but this prize may only be redeemed within 6 months of the first crown you actually paid for when we screwed up. I had three crowns done. They messed up one making it look like a black hole in my tooth and didnt tell me. When I saw it for myself, I was furious. I paid $800+ for a hole in my tooth before my wedding. They said that it was part of the crown that they couldnt cover because then the crown wouldnt fit. I complained. And they said they would redo it for free. I agreed, but I wasnt ready to go through all that again. It was painful, I had to have a temporary crown, and when the real crown came in it took them 3 tries to get it glued in correctly. When I went to ask for it in writing they told me, no. They said I actually only have 2 months left to get it done for free. They never said anything about that 4 months ago.

These people are snobby assholes. I took my twins there for their first dental appointment. One was fine and was able to complete his visit. The other was not cooperating with the dentist but they would not allow any parent to come back. They continued to inform me that he was no longer allowed back. A year later we took the child that was still allowed back for his pre kindergarten checkup. Everything went fine, he allowed them to examine and clean his teeth with no problems. However the so called assistants had a hard time getting him to bite down on the x-ray holders. If anyone has had to do this, its hard for adults let alone a 4 year old. So gues what....now he is not allowed back either because he wouldnt cooperate. These guys are affiliated with Meridian Dental in Edwardsville, so dont take your kids there either.

Ive always been treated very well here. There is a new dentist there however, and Ive only seen him once. He fixed a problem I was having with one of my fillings right on the spot though. The only problem I had with the new staff is that they didnt ask me if I wanted Fluoride and just gave it to me, then charged me for it. The old staff always asked me if I wanted it first. Next time I will tell them I do not want it. Its not good for your teeth in the long run anyway.

I had to go in yesterday for an emergency visit. The ENTIRE staff was WONDERFUL. I Have never had a better medical experience PERIOD! I would recomend this place to anyone and am extremely happy with the service I received. Dr. Woody was amazing as well. I dont have insurance and they were willing to work with me on a payment plan because I need a root canal. I have a VERY hard time going to the dentist for any reason at all, but I will go back there anytime!

This place is a joke spent over 2000 for my fillings and 2 fell out! Dont go here this place is a scam this is within 1 year they DO NOT WARRANTY THERE WORK!!! They told me i now need a crown i then went to dentistry with tlc they filled the first on that came out now ill have to go to tlc again to fix the ladys work from wood river family this place does not care they are just money hungry i warn everyone now this place is not right

The staff is great. They are open late hours on certain days of the week. The dentist was amazing also, he is very funny. They dont try to get all the money out of you they can. They told me what I needed to get done now and what I could wait until the new year, when all the benefits reload. I felt very comfortable with the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I went in for my first cleaning with them, and had zero problems. Nice staff, and the place was nice and updated looking. The dentist was a little behind schedule to look me over at the end, but he apologized and was super nice. I didnt notice any "price gouging", rudeness, or them trying to upsell me. I go back for my next cleaning in a few months. So far so good!

Just started here. All I can say is watch them. They were trying to bill my out of pocket higher and were telling me it was because it was back teeth fillings. Then I contacted my insurance to find out they were full of it. It makes no difference from front or back teeth. I loved the dentist but the office personnel not very comfortable with at all.

Horrible. I have never had tooth pain before and since they have worked on my teeth, I am always uncomfortable and in pain. I had two fillings done and had to go get them fixed once from them and now need to go get them fixed again in less than a years time because they have done such a horrible job on them. Would not recommend. Go somewhere else.

I truly believe this place price gauges and does unnecessary procedures to collect more money. After two visits, I quickly learned they were out to make as much money as possible. I will not be going back.

Had a bad toothache called next morning they got me an appointment same day . Someone cancelled got a call I could come in earlier. Got me right in and taken care of . great service
