My rating is 4/5 stars, because the front desk staff is extremely rude. There was not a welcoming feel. The associates at the front desk did not address patients that were waiting at the desk. There were several first time patients, and no one informed them of the paper work. So, patients were waiting and expecting the front desk to call their names. I witness an elderly lady stand at the desk for about 5 minutes while the 2 women associates chatted about last night adventures. After waiting 5 minutes the security office finally asked the woman “can we help you?” she began to explain that she had never been there before, and was not sure of how the process works. Then one of the associates handed her a clip board without addressing her, and told her I need your ID and insurance card! Then as the waiting room started to fill up, and I noticed the front desk associate started to chat on her cell phone. I would have assumed it was a work phone if she wasn’t discussing her personal relationship business. The personal cell phone continued to ring loudly at the desk. They open the doors at 8:45 am which is good to get there early, because they schedule so many appointments at the same time. Arrive extremely early, because they will reschedule your appointment if you’re a late no excuses. I witness the staff inform patients that the doctor reschedule their appointment, because they were late. At this point they hadn’t called any patients to a treatment area. They did not start to call patients until about 9:30/9:45 am. Now for the positive, Technician Brandy was extremely patient, and informative. She is the only reason why I rated 4/5 stars. She seemed very compassionate about her job, and La Familia Dental need more like her. I do not know if you can request for Brandy, but you should if you can.

Horrible horrible horrible. I arrived at 845 for a 930 apt. By 10 I was not seen. I had to ask. They said I was next and I watched 5 people get called. By 1030 I asked again where I was. Again I was told next. 1040 they finally see me after I ask if I should reschedule. I finally get in the back and they want me to do an x-ray. I had already told them I was pregnant and did so in the paperwork. So again I tell the lady. I am pregnant. Is there special safety taken. Then she pulls me back to the computer where she looks at my info that does in fact say I Am pregnant. So had I not had to remind the staff I would have got an x ray that would have put me at risk for a miscarriage. After realizing her mistake and the fact that she didnt even look at my file till I had to mention I was pregnant she told me I wouldnt be seen today unless I had a doctors note and sent me out the door without me being able to say a word. In the end Im glad I wasnt seen. They dont seem like they have a clue what they are doing and that can be very dangerous for anyone who thinks they will put your safety first. They wont and obviously dont care. Ive never been to a place that can overlook things and put their clients at risk. Dangerous dangerous dangerous

Ive been sitting in the office for over an hour and a half and I can hear a woman screaming in pain. Not a good first impression. -------------------------------------------------------------- After the appointement: Definitely will NOT be returning! They forgot about me and left me sitting for 2 hours. My husband went up and spoke to the woman and the counter and she ran back and talked to someone and they promptly called my name. I went back and had X-rays taken(the woman forgot one and even though the Dr informed her of her error she did not take the one she forgot) she also have me a cleaning which only consisted of about a 45 second brushing. The Dr said to do a deep cleaning they would need to schedule another appointment and numb my mouth. Numb my mouth for a cleaning? Seriously? Ive had plenty of cleanings by several dentists and never have I ever had to have my mouth numbed prior to a cleaning! The Dr asked if I had any questions and when I asked if I could rinse my mouth first, he left the room while I was rinsing. They left me waiting for 2 hours and my time spent in the back was about 20 minutes, 10 of which was more waiting. This place is a circus!

First, when i walked in the ladies at the front desk did not greet me or anyone after me(not even eye contact). Then i realized when signing in everybodys appointment was scheduled at 9a.m(so was mine); remind you it was 20 people(no exaggeration) already singed in and seated by this time. 5 workers walked in 10-15 minutes after 9am when the place openes at 9am!(hmmm) After sitting for 30 mins, the ladies at the front desk finally starts calling names to hand out paperwork that needs to be filled out before being seen.(why didnt they have them fill out paperwork while waiting for 30 mins?!?!?!) Anyway, an hour later i go back to be seen & they were actually great! Smiles, good positive energy, laughter, every person that made eye contact greeted me. It was good! I honestly wish i could rate them separately but maybe the ladies at the front desk need a little more order so things will run a bit more smoothly & try smiling more. (I mean, they are the first people you see when you walk in)

My office visits have all been pleasant. Today however I called because I wanted to make sure that they had faxed or emailed my xrays to my insurance office and the young lady that answered the phone basically told me that in the year 2015 that she had no way of knowing if they had sent my xrays to my insurance company...so I hang up the phone called my insurance company to see if they had gotten them...they hadnt!!! (go figure)...so immediately I hang up and call them back and then they tell me that they had spoke to someone from my ins company and that they needed my ins companys email address so they could email it again...and guess who had to call the my ins company and get that information...but my question is since they told me that they would RESEND them why did i have to call them and get the email address again!!!!
