My entire life Ive had a fear of dentists. After several brave attempts through the years, I just gave up and regrettably, ignored dental care. I developed painful infections, tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, as bad as it gets. I couldnt ignore the pain any longer and found Dr. Ahed online. He was willing to see me at a moments notice, made sure I was out of pain, and extracted the worst of many teeth causing me problems. I had literally lost my smile. Dr Ahed is being modest about his talents. After many visits, 13 painless extractions, bone grafting, 4 root canals, custom bridge work, custom partial plate, full upper plate, I have a smile that would knock your socks off! Dr Ahed saved my outlook on life, gave me what Ive been missing my entire adult life. His wife is wonderful, caring, his perfect partner in the office. On Saturday, June 23, 2012, I walked out of Dr Aheds office with my smile. The upper plate fits so perfectly, no adhesive is needed. I cant even tell the bottom partial is there! He is meticulous, thorough, and if youre not happy, he isnt happy. "We specialize in extractions" is an understatement. Dr Ahed can rebuild an entire set of teeth and make them look real and fit comfortably! Ive seen some dentists in my time, thats probably why I gave up! Most didnt even care how they performed their work, how long the work lasted, just another dollar sign walking in the door. Dr Ahed put his heart and soul in to the work he did for me. I owe him and his wonderful wife a debt I can never repay. Kudos to you Dr Ahed!!

A recent six tooth extraction in one visit was simultaneously followed up by inserting an upper plate. This procedure left me at ease, without pain and favorably informed. Previously other dentists had difficulty in pulling as little as one tooth for me and they since have regretted or refused to do so again. Dr. Ahed has been my all time favorite dentist for about the last 20 years. He is worthy of the estimated 100 mile round trip I travel to each appointment. Likewise, he has always attended to my various dental needs in a professional manner and usually on short notice. In my opinion, Dr. Ahed is an extremely caring individual with concerns up and beyond the call of duty for him and those staff deal with. Furthermore, as a patient it is comforting for me to see the several plaques on display around the premises. They were awarded by the doctors peers recognizing him for distinguished service which now exceeds forty years.

By far the best dentist I have ever been to. He took me right away! His office is so clean! For some reason, I never ever get numb... Dr. Ahed laughed and said, "You will be numb in my office!" Within minutes of giving me an injection I was numb! I couldnt believe it! I was so happy! When I asked him why I never get numb with the other dentists, he said, Anatomy was his favorite subject... He really knows exactly where to give the injection. The shot didnt even hurt at all either! This guy really knows what he is doing! Since he does his extractions surgically, he was able to pop that tooth right out! NO MORE PAIN! I healed up so fast too! I didnt even need to take any pain pills! I recommend this dentist to everyone! All of my family and friends have started to go see Dr. Ahed. Every single one of them thanks me for recommending him! Thank you so much Dr. Ahed! You are the best emergency dentist in the Chicagoland area!

I called this dentist because my wisdom tooth was in severe pain and they were the only one available at that time. I needed something for the swelling to bring out the infection in order to get the tooth extracted and this dentist gave four pills, which didnt help. I called back the next day and he was in the background yelling at the receptionist that he couldnt do anything more unless, I was able to come up with money, just to come in to get the tooth looked at. This dentist was all about the money and doesnt care about the pain someone is in or how infected the tooth was. This is a really sucky dentist with a lying receptionist, stating, "hes not there, but hes yelling in the background" Wow! Luckily, I found a dentist that care, accepted my insurance, deductible $50 instead of $100 and was able to prescribe real antibiotics and schedule to come back for the surgery in seven days.

Ive been visiting Dr Aheds office for over 12 years. The first time I called for an appointment I needed emergency treatment for a tooth on which my previous dentist had begun work. Tragically that dentist passed before my follow up, and I was in severe pain. I also needed a late evening appointment. Dr Ahed was accommodating of my schedule and repaired the tooth. He showed me the x-rays, explained the steps, and answered my questions. Through the years Ive been back for the following procedures: fillings, root canals, reconstructions, extractions, replacement of a lost crown, placement of new crowns, and placement of a bridge. Since that first night, hes never told me what I wanted to hear; but instead told me what I needed to hear, and followed through on what he promised. Thats why I trust him.

The last two nights I have been dealing with the worst tooth pain of my life. I broke a tooth 7 years ago, and it never bothered me until recently. I called this office because it is close to my work and all of the reviews were great. They were able to take me in an hour after I called. Its a small office, just a dentist and the assistant, but they were the two nicest people Ive met in a long time. Dr. Ahed discussed my options with me and got to work. I am happy to report that we saved my tooth! The root canal was PAINLESS, which is awesome, because I was scared half to death to get it done in the first place. Left work at 11am and back by 1pm, no pain meds required! I cannot explain how grateful I am to be out of pain. I recommend this practice to anyone and everyone! :D

I broke my wisdom tooth on sunday evening, during Memorial Day weekend. I found Dr. Ahed through a google search. He said he would be happy to meet me at his office to take care of my tooth pain. Im in my forties and have never had a tooth pulled before, so i was a little nervous. Dr. Ahed calmed me down and reassured me that it is easy and painless. I never felt a thing. He is that good! He went over all the dos and donts with me before i left his office. I called him today with a few other questions, and he happily answered them for me. I highly recommend Dr. Ahed, i will return to him again in the future.

Dr Ahed is the best dentist Ive ever met. I called to other dentists to make appointment with painful tooth. None of them found time to help me. Two sleepless nights with terrible pain and a lots of pain relievers. I called Dr Ahed and he came for me to his office same day. Root canal didnt hurt at all!!!! He is the most professional dentist ever. He is so gentle and caring. Coming to his office is a pleasure! I highly recommend!
