I honestly cant say enough nice things! The dentist (DR Sumeet Bagai is who I saw) couldnt have been nicer. When I was working I had to see a different dentist from what I had been because of insurance and he was such an ass about my neglecting my dental health that I never went back. It was a case of priorities. Mummy needed her insulin and daddy needed and still needs his dementia medicine. My dental stuff could wait. Parents took care of me, only right I do whatever I could to take care of them. The dentist over at Gentle Dental in Yorkville, Illinois was so totally understanding when I explained. He says, "what were you going to do? dump them in a nursing home? Thats what good daughters do." He explained to me what medicaid would pay for, what they wouldnt and that we would figure out how to get things taken care of and paid for that they didnt. They also have a referral program so when you go in for your appointment, ask for a referral card and feel free to paste my name on it. If you do, they will give us both a $25 credit toward services. I dont know about you all, but I thought that was a wonderful way to say thank you for word of mouth advertising. :) As I was reading some of the other less stellar reviews, let me state that I called this morning because the pain in my busted molars was finally at a point I just couldnt deal anymore. I called expecting that it would be at least several days before I could get an appointment as most places I know do not give high priority to Medicaid patients. I explained the situation to the receptionist (who was lovely, friendly and very dear) and they got me in TONIGHT. They couldnt pull them yet because there is infection to deal with first, but the follow up appointment is in a week. As soon as the antibiotics are done they are getting these painful beasts out. I dont know what happened with the people only leaving one or 2 stars, but I am confident in my 5 star rating and I am such a blessed chicken when it comes to dentists I generally do my best to meditate while they work just to avoid a panic attack.

The people are cordial however I had gotten some fillings and the material they used feels likes sandpaper every time I run my tongue against it. When I had fillings done by another dentist years ago the material felt as natural as my tooth. I asked them to smooth it out and that did nothing. My tooth hurts in one spot really bad when I floss and she said there was nothing to do about it. I still cant chew on that side of my mouth normally because of it. Trying to make appt for teeth whitening was nightmare. They shouldnt offer specials for a service that is so limited with availability to begin with. No weekends are offered for this. No privacy either. When I first came here I was surprised to get an initial appt so quickly and I wondered if it was because they were not busy but for a bad reason but decided to give them a chance. Probably the case, not to mention they will call you a million times to confirm an appt. one time they literally called me every other day until an appt of mine three weeks later. They say if you cannot make appt please call us so I dont call because Im going to keep it but Im getting call after call anyways. and a lot of reviews Ive read say that they are always telling people they "need" the deep cleaning. Which theyve told me that as well and I was not impressed with cleaning, again going to other dentist I saw a difference in the quality of work.

"Not very gentle" I would think twice before making an appointment here! Had a problem with a broken tooth that was done here and was shown the door when I drove all the way back out there to get it fixed. Not only was my cracked tooth in desperate need of being looked at, the staff was not very helpful. Shrugged their shoulders at my pleads for help when i told them i cant sleep or eat and seemed only concerned about making sure I didnt see the doctor so they would have less work. Now Ive got to go find another doctor to fix the problem that this doctor did and hopefully not get infected from the garbage work that was done on my teeth here! Oh yeah thanks for everything glad you got payed because I definitely lost money leaving work early and driving 30 miles out of my way to see a doctor that doesnt back the work they do. Feels like the teeth that were worked on here are going to fall out! Had pain and bleeding with no help just shown the door

I go to this dentist because I have been taking my child for his cleaning and fillings. I was pregnant so I couldnt do anything to my teeth, now that I had my baby I made my appointment for cleaning and the day I was supposed to go my husband had to work so I had to go by myself with my 4 week old baby. As always I sign in and waited for about 5-10 mins in the waiting room (thats because I usually get to places 5-10 mins ahead) I got called in and my 4 week old started crying, Rosie the receptionist was so nice she watched him while I was getting my teeth clean and x-rays done. Of course, I do not recommend taking your baby to your appointments, but I highly recommend this place! Dr. Bagai who is my sons dentist is now my dentist as well!! and my husbands of course! and when its time, he will be my babys dentist too!

I rate this place zero stars (Google made me put 1.. not a fan)... Worse experience ever so much so I am taking the time to write a review about it! Customer Service... there is none. The girls that work the front desk have no clue what they are doing ever. The Dentist himself was great very knowledgeable. The nurses or hygienist dont know how to communicate with you at all. I will never go here again.. except for getting my money back for a night guard I never received and still dont have the refund they claimed they sent 2 weeks ago.

Was not impressed by their service.Went for our free cleaning included in our insurance plan but felt like they recommended to many unnecessary and pricey additional dental procedures like fillings etc and really never did the cleaning.We requested them to get back to us on a quote for dental fillings specific to our insurance and even after checking with them twice two weeks later they have not responded back as promised. Seems they are too busy to be bothered and we are certainly not giving them our business.

Do not treat patients like they want to be treated! My daughter was 6 mins late to her appt and they made her reschedule! But my husband goes for his appt and has to wait 35 minutes to get in. I then find out at my daughters second appt she required novocaine for a procedure but she is scared of needles and he refused to give her another form of pain releaver so she had to do the procedure without any numbing agent. Real gentle....i think not! Very unprofessional and we will be switching dentists!
