I am somewhat ambivalent over how to rate my overall satisfaction with Hubert Family Dentistry based on my last experience. Whereas I was thrilled that they were able to get me in the same day due to loosening bonding on a front tooth, it went downhill from there. I went in with the intentions of just having the bonding refastened and made that quite clear both on the phone and when I presented to the front desk and with the dental assistant when I was finally moved back to an office, however that is not what happened. I was informed that not one, but two teeth were getting temporary crowns after it was past the point of no return as he had already been filing down my teeth which I could not feel due to a prior root canal. This resulted in a total charge of $754 which left me with a balance of $377 after my dental insurance covered half of it. Although I was told that they understood that I was not expecting that bill they also require that the entire balance be paid even before anything else is addressed to include the two front teeth next to the two with the new temporary crowns that are now differently colored. Even though I expressed clearly that I would pay the entire balance of the bonding on the other two teeth on date of service and that the entire remaining balance would be paid no later than January when my HSA Card became active they still insist on having the $350 paid before they will even consider making an appointment (I paid $27 DOS). Furthermore, I suffer from severe anxiety which is exacerbated by the dentist and normally receive gas so that I can endure dental work with minimal discomfort however nothing was offered and I honestly suffered through the entire appointment. Overall, I am extremely unhappy with my experience as nothing was discussed with me prior to prepping two teeth for temporary crowns even though I went in simply to have bonding refastened, I wasn’t given anything to make the treatment bearable and half of my smile is completely differently colored than the other half on top of not being able to get an appointment to rectify the coloring issue nor get x-rays to make a permanent treatment plan since the crowns are only temporary. I finally received a response today after over a week passing since I originally emailed them basically reiterating that they would rather lose a patient over waiting approximately 2.5 mths for the full payment of $350 knowing that more work is needed than to go ahead and schedule the appointment so that I know how much total to put on my HAS for the work that will be needed in the very near future. I do not know that I will return to Hubert Family Dentistry due to my discomfort, not being given any options nor being made aware of such a huge change in the treatment when I visited and then him honestly sending me out of the office with half of smile colored differently than the other half due to the temporary crowns that he placed. I am seriously disappointed. Although I hate leaving a less than glowing review my visit doesn’t warrant a rating any higher than given based on my experience. ***Ive since changed my review from 2* to 1*. After days of not being able to eat nor talk without a lisp and increased pain where I previously had none I made an emergency appointment with my previous dentist. There I learned that the temporary crowns Dr Hubert placed on my teeth without permission were a type and process no longer used by most dentists due to the problems I was experiencing. Furthermore, the crowns were oversized and didnt fit correctly therefore allowing food and anything else down inside of the cavity of them thus irritating my mouth even further. The work was so bad that this dentist got me in for a 6 hour block in under a week because he said the situation was so severe that it couldnt wait. In addition to having to replace both crowns he also had to do buildup work because of the way Dr Hubert prepped me previously. Ive contacted my dental insurance company and will do whatever necessary to ensure no payment is received for this. ***

Well, lets start with the Good Comfortable Location, right off of North Burkhardt! When I walked into the Very Nicely Decorated Office of Hubert Family Dentistry, I was immediately greeted by perhaps the Most Pleasant Receptionist Ever, My New Friend, Alexa! An Excellent Professional As Well as a Very Beautiful and Lovely Lady! Next, the Staff at Hubert Family Dentistry....A Very Beautiful, Friendly and Courteous Staff of Lovely Ladies, who somehow or another made me feel Right at Home at a Dentists Office? I want to go back just for The Amazing Hospitality! Dr. Hubert, is an Exceptional Dentist, telling me in a Very Easy to Understand way, what I was dealing with, why, and More Importantly Dr. Hubert also had a Very Reasonable and Sensible Plan to Correct things, and was pretty damn friendly about it too! You just dont often see this Excellence of Staff or Expertise too many places! Then to My Tooth Cleaning! Wow! When have either I or You, been completely Relaxed.....with Pointed Objects in your mouth? Oh My God! Dental Hygienist, Rachel, another Very Beautiful and Lovely Young Lady, is So Very Professional and Talented! I never felt Any Pain, No Discomfort, Damn! This is a Teeth Cleaning? I was so Relaxed? During a cleaning when Im usually clenching and counting seconds? Rachel, Thank You So Much! Dr. Hubert you have a SUCH a Wonderful and Beautiful Staff! On the way out the door, Rachel introduces me to quite possibly the Only Young Lady, who could tell me my bill and Im just glad to meet her. Stacy is no exception to The Beautiful and Professional Staff here! Stacy is Very Friendly and With a Beautifully Pleasant Smile too! You just kinda forget youre at a Dentist! The Lovely Staff and Friendly Professional Experience is Absolutely Amazing! Thank You Ladies! Jay T.

They do so many things well, its hard to know where to start. From the time I am greeted when I walk in, to the time I leave, I am treated like a welcomed guest. My hygienist, Rachel, is top-notch; she remembered me beyond my teeth, she was thorough, patient with my questions, and encourages what I do well and NEVER points the finger at me. She kindly urges me to "do whats working," or "keep an eye on that," or "you might want to try x, y, or z." The doctors are thorough, never make me feel rushed, and NEVER push anything. This means a lot to me because my last dentist had the bedside-manner of someone only interested in $$$$, and his attitude showed it. The review allows for 5 stars and they deserve every one. It may seem like I am going on and on, or being overly effusive, but this is the first practice I have encountered where going to the dentist was not torture. On the contrary, if I move, I will lament the fact that I will be back to the drawing board. The good news is I now have the litmus test to judge all other practices. Thanks, HFD!

I hadnt been the the dentist in years when I made an appointment with Dr. Adam. The first appointment was great, everyone was so nice and caring and smiles all around. I had to come back for fillings which terrified me since the last time I had been to a different dentist I had my wisdom teeth pulled and the doctor had not fully numbed me so I was in a lot of pain. I mentioned this while I was checking out, because of that experience I was scared to be numbed again for work. A couple days before my filling appointment Dr. Adam called me to see how I was doing and to reassure me everything would be fine and he would make sure I wouldnt be in any pain. I was completely floored! I had never been called by my doctor personally to answer any questions or help ease my mind! I knew right then that I found an amazing office to entrust with the care of my health in this way! At Hubert Family Dentistry there is no judgement, you are treated with respect and compassion, youre treated like family!!
