Where do I begin? Ive been seeing Dr. Rosenthal for 5+ years. Im 36 and have been in some of the most extreme construction jobs since I was 19. Also during that time, I was into regular heavy weightlifting up until my early 30s. My job for the past 6 years involves operating a 90 pound jackhammer, breaking concrete on most days, and heavy lifting and shovelling on others. When I first saw Dr. Randy, I had been experiencing shooting pain, numbness and tingling in my left shoulder blade and arm/hand and fingers for a year and a half. I was on a lot of pain medication, and monthly trigger point injections just to try to take the edge off so I could sleep and go back to work, yet the pain never went away. It was always there. I had seen several chiropractors, had x-rays, MRIs and been ran up my medical bills for years. I walked into Elite Chiropractic for my initial consultation, Dr. Rosenthal had a plan within 5 minutes of examining me, based off my posture alone. No X-rays, no expensive MRIs when you first come through the door. Just from LISTENING to my problems. Within 6 weeks of my first appointment, Doc had me PAIN-FREE for the first time in years. I got off pain meds, no more shots(until I did further damage on my own, which he has since nursed me back from). This man knows your body. Since my first sessions, I have gone back regularly, for maintenance, and for new injuries. Doc fixes me every time. I have multiple levels of disc degeneration and fusion, bulges, stenosis at multiple levels. I would not be able to support my family without Dr. Rosenthal. Most recently, I was getting cortisone injections directly into my spine (twice last year). Because of insurance reasons, I was not able to get any this year. My cervical discs flared up big time. In a little more than a month, Dr. Rosenthal again got rid of the severe numbness and tingling, and I never took a day off, still running the jackhammer. In a time when doctors are more motivated by what prescription kickbacks they are getting that month, Dr. Rosenthal is one of the true, honest healers that is concerned about his patients well-being. I trust him more than any other physician I have ever met, and Ive seen my share. He has met me at 5:30 a.m. before I go to work, just so I can make it through the day. 5 stars isnt enough for this place. Deb goes above and beyond to schedule your appointments at a moments notice, and will fight tooth and nail with insurance companies that make your life harder. And she knows enough about each patients pain and problems, that it shows you are more than just a number going through an assembly line when you walk through their doors. Elite Chiropractic is the real deal, if you REALLY WANT to feel better.

October 28, 2014 So here is the scoop on Elite Chiropractic & Sports Care in Munster Indiana. I have been a patient of Dr. Randy Rosenthal for over a year now. Before my first visit, I had chronic neck, back, and hip pain. The pain would wake me in the middle of the night and have me rolling on the floor in the morning before I could even take my shower and start my day. I had migraine headaches that would last for days and interrupted my daily activities. I had problems with balance and would trip numerous times throughout my day and always feared my next fall. Over the years I was sent from doctor to doctor and I did the physical therapy thing, the steroid injections, and pain medication nothing seemed to work. I can honestly tell you I do not trust doctors. I am not large on taking medications, or undergo tests. So, I really had my doubts when I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Randy. Making that appointment was the best thing I could have ever done. I am pain free. I walk better and have learned the exercises to continue improving my health. Overall, I feel like I was given my active lifestyle back. With all that said, Dr. Randy takes time to listen and is honest with you. He has a very quiet, calm and inviting office environment. Scheduling an appointment is easy and his office staff cares about you as much as Dr. Randy himself. I quickly learned that I was not just another patient with pain. Dr. Randy hears and pays close attention to details and encourages you to seek care when it is out of his range of practice. Your health is his priority. My best piece of advice is when he tells you to stop your extracurricular activities for the first couple weeks do it. (It will not kill you, trust me I survived!) Katie Hemp

I discovered Dr. Rosenthal purely by chance a little over a year ago. I had been going to the facility his office is located in for water therapy and also physical therapy on my back and arm (neither of which seemed to be helping much). Being a retired nurse you can imagine all of the back injuries I have had over the years. Most of the doctors and orthopedic surgeons I had been to told me to either start taking pain medication regularly or have back surgery. Neither was an option I was interested in. As I passed Dr. Rosenthal’s office I decided on a whim to go in, without much hope he could really make a difference. Boy was I wrong! After just one week I was sleeping all night long and did not wake up with pain in the morning. I am pain free and feel 20 years younger. Dr. Rosenthal gave me back my life. Being in the medical field I did not think very positively about the benefits of chiropractic medicine which was a really big mistake. Here it is over a year later, I am still pain free and continue to go for maintenence visits to make sure I stay pain free. Dr Rosenthal is very patient, answers all of my questions and does not rush my visit. That is very rare nowadays. His staff is great also, they are very accommodating and friendly.

I was a huge skeptic of chiropractic care until it was my wife that had shoulder pain and found success here with Dr. Randy. I woke with pain in my hip one morning, the kind of pain that makes a grown man cry, and I did, "just a little"; that pain you can get NO rest from. Dr Randy was able to see me the next morning and after minutes of twisting and stretching, he was able to relieve a great deal of stress from my hip, as well as in some other areas that were nagging me. I was convinced that he knew what he was doing and that I needed to continue with his therapy to see this pain disappear. On a scale of 1 to 10 my pain level has been at .5 after seeing the good doctor a couple times a week. If only I had the DISCIPLINE to do the suggested exercises he showed me, I probably would have been at zero a while ago. He is a very down to earth kind of guy with a super cool assistants.

Im still kicking myself for waiting this long to start seeing Dr. Randy! I thought going to the chiropractor was just for your back but [very] little did I know, its for so many other things! I work as a laborer in a steel mill and I play league volleyball so I have terrible elbows. I honestly thought nothing could help me.. One day I went to Elite Chiropractic with my girlfriend and met Dr. Randy. He was very knowledgeable, honest, professional and has a great bedside manner. Not only did he answer all the questions I had but he even showed me stretches I could to at home to alleviate my pain. I now see Dr. Randy and do my stretches regularly and I feel great! Also, Deb at the front desk is wonderful. I cant help but be in a good mood when I walk in and see her.
