Dr. Kasanareni is the worst Doctor Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I first went to a Kroger Little Clinic for flu-like symptoms, was told my lungs sound like pneumonia, and left with a prescription for antibiotics, steroids, and an inhaler. Because there was no X-ray machine there, I decided to go to Floyd Memorial Urgent Care to get a better diagnosis and get a chest X-ray. When I met with Dr. Kasanareni, I told her I wanted to be sure I was diagnosed properly because Im breastfeeding and dont want to take anything unnecessary. She told me point blank, "I think youll be fine with what you were prescribed. I dont want to step on the toes of the Little Clinics Doctor by prescribing you something else. You need to get a general practitioner." ...are you kidding me? I am a breastfeeding mom and should not have been prescribed steroids because of that reason alone (the little clinic Nurse Practitioner knew that but prescribed it anyways), yet she was unwilling to give me a proper diagnosis that would affect both myself and my baby?!? I told her I needed a chest X-ray and thats what i was there for. She was very unwilling, but I think my persistent attitude finally got her to do her actual job, being a doctor and all. Turns out I didnt have pneumonia, but an upper respiratory infection. It truly amazed me that she was willing to let me go misdiagnosed and allow my baby to be exposed to medicine through my breastmilk that is deemed "not safe" just because she didnt want to "step on the toes" of the RN at the Little Clinic. I like Floyd Memorial Urgent Care because its close to my home, the front desk guy is always friendly and the other doctors are great as well. Steer clear from Dr. Kasanareni though, she is THE WORST!

I have been to this office numerous times and generally love it there but not my last visit with Dr. Kasarneni. I took my son in running a fever and the office staff was great and they are super quick at seeing you and getting you out of there. Dr. Kasarneni was very rude to me when she seen my son, I called her "she" and she actually told me her name was Dr. Kasarneni and that is what I should call her instead of saying "she" to my son who is 6. She then went on to say that I should not speak to my husband that was in the room with us because it was rude toward her to speak with him and we needed to be nice to her because she was trying to help our son. I am still really unsure of what was actually going on as the only thing I had said to the Dr. was that she had seen my son before and he recognized her from her picture in the waiting room. She acted as if we were beneath her and I thought it was completely unprofessional. I was never rude or nasty in anyway as I really liked it before but will not be returning when she is the doctor I have to see. As I said my family and I have been here numerous times and have always liked it here. I do want to end by saying this is a great place to go as long as you do not have to see Dr. Kasarneni.

My 6 month old son had a right ear infection and had just finished his prescription of Amoxicillin on Wednesday. By Friday he was running a fever so I took him to Floyd Memorial Urgent Care on Charlestown Rd. The nursing staff was amazing!! Dr. Kasaraneni, however, was very rude and very disrespectful!!!! She told me I was not giving my son enough fluids. In return I told her I was instructed to never give water, only diluted juice or pedialyte when sick. I told her he was fine until 11:30 that day so I was unaware that he was still sick. Also, after telling her my son had been around a child that ended up having strep after our visit with them. She would not check his throat for strep. The only thing she did was listen to him and check his ears!! She did not even look at his throat! No flu test, no RSV test, no urine checks, Nothing!!!! Needless to say she put him on Azithromycin and we are two doses in and still running a high temperature for over 24 hours after his appointment. I am very very disappointed in the visit with Dr. Kasaraneni. The staff is amazing but the physician was horrible!!!!!!

Dr kasaraneni is the worst doctor Ive ever come in contact with. The rest of the staff is good. She is horrible at listening to anything you have to say about your own child. Took my daughter in there after I had just left my 2 sons pediatrician appt. (She couldnt be seen there since he hadnt had a first well appt yet) so I had to drag my 3 kids one of which is only a week old to 2 Dr offices. Dr k walks in tje room, tells.me to go stand by my daughter and procedes to say, my dauhyer will be fine just give her soup. I tell her my daughter is having the same symptoms as my son plus a soar throat and that he had bronchitis. She doesnt check her throat, ears, chest or anything and sends us on our way. That night music daughter starts running a 103 fever and it lasted 2 more days. Now Im having to drag my week old and daughter out again to another appt to find out what is going on with my daughter, her throat is raw and red, still.has a bad cough. At least her fever broke. But now I have a cough too.

I visited the Floyd Memorial Urgent Care Center- Charlestown Road on 8/12/14 for a rash on the back of my right hand with a similar rash on my left ankle. Dr. Kasaraneni came into the examining room, pushed on my wrist suggested I had diabetes and went over my drug allergies. She ordered a blood sugar test -- for the rash on my hand. When I questioned the frivolous test, the nurse informed me that Dr. Kasaraneni would not provide with further treatment without the blood test. The test was negative and the doctor sent me on my way with two prescriptions - one of which has both the drugs I am allergic to. Apparently there is a male doctor who also works at this location who staff reported to me was very good. The one star is for the friendly office staff and the friendly nursing staff.

I have visited this facility several times over the course of a few years, Ive seen Dr Grumley and Dr Karamshini (dont know the spelling?) A couple of times and Ive really liked both of them. Once I went when I had a strange allergic reaction to something and they were very helpful and followed up with me. I took my daughter after she had been to MULTIPLE other doctors for a strange rash and had been treated for all sorts of things unnecessarily (turns out she had eczema) and Ive taken my son a couple of times. Its fairly fast, the staff is friendly and I really liked the doctors, knowledgeable and nice and friendly to my kids, which is important. I definitely recommend them.

The reason for the one star is the attitude and lack of care given to me by Dr. Kasaraneni. She was extremely rude and talked down to me. Now on the other hand, Rn Pam , RT Shawn and Mary were amazing. They were kind, caring and showed me support while I was experiencing my illness. Also, Dr. Grumley is an outstanding Dr. He shows compassion and takes the time to listen to you and gives you sound and solid advice. If it wasnt for Pam, Shawn, Mary and Dr. Grumley, I would NEVER go to this facility again. if you see Dr. Kasaraneni, you will receive the worse care possibly given.
