I am so fortunate to have met this lovely woman. She knows so much. She is so positive, and she has amazing and fun stories that she shares. I have to see many doctors, and I have had many experiences with so many. She is definitely one I consider to be great! Her positive energy is infectious. I just adore her. I just read through the other reviews, and I wanted to add that I have fibromyalgia, and she knows so much more about it than any other doctor I have been through. I have issues that I dont understand and cannot describe, and she can tell me exactly what it is. She walks me through things I need to do like stretches to deal with my sciatic nerve, she understands my issue better than I do. I usually have to educate my doctors on my condition. I was instantly relieved when she began talking to me and confirming and sorting out what I was confused about. I cannot give her a high enough rating or find the words to describe how amazing her and her staff are.

My mom sees her and unlike many doctors who do exactly what Lori is accusing Dr. Flaugher of, shes never done that with her. Mom has a complex set of medical problems, and has a bit of hypochondria on top of that. Instead of just medicating her more, Dr. Flaugher actually talked to her, explained what was wrong and eased her mind on symptoms she was blowing out of proportion thinking something more serious was wrong. Shes very sweet and kind with elderly patients and explains things in terms that they understand instead of just firing off medical-ese and leaving the patients confused. Also, I really like the fact that the staff doesnt bat an eye that I go with Mom when she goes in. Other doctors act threatened when my sister or I go with her, especially if we ask questions.

I dont know what or why Lori says Dr. Flaugher is lazy and a pill pusher. That statement is nowhere near accurate. Dr. Flaugher has a great personality [ and amazingly can deal with me despite many people finding me abrasive due to what I say or do at times ( a lot of people have called me a jerk or worse - even if I am just joking around or being sarcastic ). However Dr. Flaugher seems to understand my behavior and jumps right into the fun with me She has a good eye for various illnesses. She only will prescribe meds if she thinks they are absolutely necessary. If you are near Richmond and have any rheumatological health issue then I highly recommend you visit her at least once. You might be surprised in how good she is.

Dr. Flaugher is AMAZING!! She was so attentive and listened to me and didnt make me feel insane. She prescribed me to a medication no one else haS tried and just in the two weeks Ive been on it I feel A MILLION TIMES better. She is one of the best doctors Ive ever seen, and Im thankful to have gotten the chance to be seen by her. I highly recommend her to anyone with joint issues or joint related autoimmune disorders!

Laziest doc i have ever seen. pushes prescriptions. she actually says " well put you on this drug and if it works than you have (whatever) if it dont then we know thats not whats wrong with you and well try something else". Arent there tests that could be done? sometimes but this is easier. would you like a pain pill with that? still have no idea whats wrong with me
