I had a 4 week old kitten that I had been given on Friday evening. I realized it was extremely sick, but thought it could wait until offices opened up Saturday morning. So I did, and then realized that no one would even look at the kitten because I didnt have an appointment. I called them in a sort of panic because I thought this kitten may die on me without getting help soon, and there was no way it could wait until Monday. They told me to bring her in, and they noticed how badly she was doing and helped me immediately. In the end my options were $460 worth of hospitalization care because she needed oxygen or ~$200 worth of medicine to be given at home without much hope because she was having so much trouble breathing. I couldnt afford hospitalization and was worried that I would end up taking the kitten home to die (even if I bought the medicine). They listened to me and ended up coming up with a third option of them taking her and adopting her out if she got better (I was only really fostering her to find a home for her anyway). I cannot say enough kind things about the way they treated me and the kitten. They gave me multiple treatment options and when they took her, they didnt even charge me for everything that they did during the appointment. They were a godsend!

I thought I my 8lb chihuahua had eaten an ibuprophen (which can be incredibly fatal); I called them and they walked me through the initial at-home steps. When I didnt find a pill in his vomit -- yes, i know this is gross, but these are the facts- -- I called, still sobbing in fear, and they stayed calm and gave me clear directions on how to find them. Before I showed up my roommate called and found the pill I thought hed eaten - but I still wasnt convinced. The staff was so kind to me, as I waited around just pacing in their lobby because I was still freaked out. I havent had any procedures done - as this just happened an hour ago, but wanted to leave a comment on their awesome after hours emergency staff.

We had to bring our beloved pet Angel in to be put to sleep and the doctor and staff were wonderful. We were not even patients and they saw us within a couple hours of us calling-and it was after hours! They really accomodated us. We would have had no where else to go as every other office was closed for the weekend. Beautiful office and a nice large green area for your pet to run and do his business before/after the visit. I highly recommend this practice and owe these Dr.s and staff a huge Thank-You.
