LOVING PET OWNERS LISTEN TO ME DO NOT GO TO THIS VET CLINIC I TRULY REPEAT DONT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING FOR YOUR PET!!! Here is my experience to help everyone. This vet is MUCH cheaper then any in Eau Claire or surroundings areas and there is a big reason why!( you get the quality you pay for) July 29th 2016 brought my dog to get fixed, picking her up on Saturday I request THREE TIMES for a cone collar to avoid my dog going at her stitches. First all of sloppy shabby stitch job that looked loosely done. They go oh she wont touch it, watch her, we dont give them out unless they go at it. I asked 3 times remember this? I shouldve been smart and went to pet smart to get one and not listen to these vets with( no common sense). Now my dog was fine till Tuesday night, when 10-12 inches of guts were hanging down out of her with it open, bleeding, called them and they had me go in for ANOTHER surgery this being emergency. Now when I go to pick her up they charge me an extra 651 for a (*repair*) and the stitches much tighter better set in and have a cone in her head. I couldnt afford it, they held my dog hostage until I could come up with at least 325 half nothing less!! Its there fault they screwed up they didnt give me the PROPER after surgery requirements. And then rip me off. It cost $ 900 in the end, I couldve went to an expensive quality vet. Look at the other reviews here, listen to the people. This business doesnt do things right *THE FIRST TIME* and then you pay for it, they held my dog hostage. Cold rotten people, they also laughed about it literally in my face, how professional is that! They were rude and snotty just like these other reviews say they make you feel like a bad pet owner. No THEY ARE HORRIBLE VET CLINIC Your cheap because your services suck and you horrible HALF A work. Hope this helps anyone looking for affordable vet just spend the money, trust the reviews. Dont go here.

So today I went into this vet clinic after my 1 1/2lb yorkie jump off our bed and hit his head (his eyes rolled into the back of his head) I was very concerned about him and needed someone to look at him right away. I got to this clinic and the assistant said we are busy so take a seat. 10 minutes went by and then the assistant spoke with Doris the vet and came back to me and stated they were. It able to see him today. What????? Who does this????? I will never bring anything back to this clinic they have no heart for our furry friends. I then drove to Chetek wi and he was check by the vet. They got him right in because it was enemgency. Wissota did not care if my Yorkie was ok or not. So sad there is people like this in this world. They are in the wrong profession.

Have been going to this vet for over a year now and have seen both Dr. Tallman and Dr. Durst. Have had a few drop in visits and they have always squeezed me into the schedule to calm my worries. They are always willing to take the time to answer my questions. Have also had some unplanned costs due to my dog being her defensive self and not allowing them to fully examine her before a surgery, and the condition being worse than expected, and they were willing to split the bill into two payments. Very caring and very knowledgeable with fair prices.

I recently went to this vet for the first time and would never go back. She didnt look me in the eye, didnt introduce herself or even ask my name. She was condescending and made me feel like a bad pet owner - even though I take great care of my animal. Overall, I was disappointed in the care of my animal and I left feeling frustrated and angry because she did not answer several of my questions. On top of it all, she was expensive – but you don’t get what you pay for here.

Our dogs have been assisted by this place for more than 10 years and we are really pleased, the moment I arrive they greet me with my first name, friendly staff and very knowledgeable vets. One of our dogs was fixed one year ago ,they called me to let me know that the operation went well and in the evening again got information since she was spending the night there. Again, our experience with them has been great .

The vet tech was very nice, but when the vet herself came in, I felt she was interrogating me. She made me feel like a bad pet owner, which I am definitely not. The prices are reasonable, better than everywhere else nearby, but I feel threatened to go back again because I dont want to have to see her again.

Every time we have taken in our dogs and cats, they have been loving and caring. Never have we been made to feel we didnt take care of our animals. Our one dog is special needs and they have his monthly medication ready quickly. I would never take my dogs or cats to anyone else.
