I called up on a Friday morning, because my chihuahua was acting strange. (Ill admit, Im a little over protective doggy dad). They told me they were booked, and in some cases double booked, so they had no appointments available. However, she asked what was going on. I described the situation and she said to bring him over and theyd get him looked at as soon as possible. He ended up needing surgery, which Dr. Simonson had to stay late to do. He then needed to stay the weekend for recovery, which again, Dr. Simonson had to come in several times on her days off to check him, walk him, feed him and called often to give me updates. We arranged a time to pick him up on Sunday, she explained what they did, showed me the xrays, and walked me through his 3 prescriptions. She had a genuine care and concern for him! Thank you Dr. Simonson and your staff for taking a genuine concern and caring for Poquito on your already hectic day! I truly do appreciate it!

I recently moved from Minnesota to Chippewa Falls. After searching Google for a trusted vet for continuing care for my two cats, I chose Riverview because the reviews were so fantastic. I made an appointment for this afternoon because of a recurring problem on the back of Maxs left leg. Without going into too many details, glands were expressed (which my previous vet had never done, much to my consternation, after discovering this should have been taken care of previously) and a two week antibiotic shot along with a steroid were administered. I cant say enough about the friendliness of the staff and the care, knowledge and professionalism displayed by the vet. I also felt the costs for Maxs treatment were very reasonable. Riverview is definitely the place I will entrust my kitties health and care to. 5 stars!

I absolutely love Dr. Simonson and her staff. My girls loved the new place! They sniffed around for a while and one of them even just ended up laying right down on the floor waiting for Dr. Simonson to take a look at her. I truly feel that she felt comfortable at the clinic. Dr. Simonson did a thorough exam of my pup and put my worries at ease. The vet techs also clipped the girls nails and they were so gentle and calm while doing it. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I recommend Riverview Animal Hospital to all my friends and family!

I am very impressed with this clinic! We showed up a few minutes early for our appointment and we were brought back immediately. The vet herself and her technicians were very friendly and helpful. They were also very caring and gentle when handling my dog, talking to him while doing procedures so he would stay calm. The staff is very friendly and professional. I normally bring my animals to a different clinic but I will definitely be bringing my furry babies here from now on!!

Dr. Carmi Simonson and staff were exceptional with my fur kid. Gertie is a puppy mill rescue and I was unsure of how her first visit would be. We were kindly greeted by the staff and they quickly made Gertie feel right at home. The care she received was outstanding and you can tell a real sense of teamwork in this hospital. Their location is easy to get to with ample parking. I would highly recommend Riverview Animal Hospital to all my friends and family.

My 11 year old schnoodle, Baileys, had been peeing blood for months, no treatments were working. Dr. Carmi suggested an ultrasound. On the day of the ultrasound I got to sit in on it and see the large tumor in her bladder. It was fascinating and scary all at the same time. Dr. Carmi did the surgery and Baileys came through it great. No cancer! Baileys is back to her old happy go lucky self again. Thanks to Dr. Carmi and her amazing Techs.

We as new puppy owners chose Riverview as our vet. Being first time puppy owners the staff at Riverview has been so helpful and comforting throughout our whole process. They explain everything from immunizations, to suggested procedures even small things as food intake for a new puppy- things that first time pet owners dont think about!
