For some reason, my pediatrician recommended this dermatologist for my 21 month old. Now, if you have a small child, youre probably aware of your childs good times and bad times during the day (i.e. baby can handle mornings ok, but lunch time and nap time need to be handled at home). My daughters appointment was scheduled for 11am (a good time for us), but we were warned that Dr. Williams often runs late, so plan accordingly. Sure. Ok. So, I packed some extra snacks, thinking "runs late" probably means half an hour. Thats still doable for us. When we arrived at 11am, I was told that doctor hadnt even arrived yet, and furthermore, there were still 5 people ahead of us to be seen first. We werent seen until 12:30pm (bad time! BAD TIME! Toddler tantrum, incoming!), and the room wasnt childproofed (which I guess isnt that big of a deal, but maybe dont advertise that you can handle pediatric cases unless you at least do some basic precautions in your exam rooms). Also, after speaking with some other patients in the waiting room, its apparently routine to wait 1-2 hours to see Dr. Williams. I have to say though, her care was excellent, and I was happy with the staff. This is just a word of warning to parents: find a dermatologist who doesnt routinely make you wait so long before being seen, or pack a lunch and bring a cot.

Very frustrated for the fact of I have been waiting for a call to know if I have cancer or not for a week. I get a call at the end of office hours on a Tuesday and was left a voice mail that I will have to call back on Thursday because the doctor is out on Wednesday. Why make a person mentally wait for a major answer two more days. Even called the office on Wednesday and no one is around to tell me answers, ridiculous!
