I just moved back from Cleveland, Ohio, where I had a terrific dentist. I did not like my familys current dentist, so I convinced them to try Dr. Clark. At first, the experience was fine. We needed A LOT of dental work, and A LOT of expensive dental work. We worked with the office staff and paid all of our fees upfront (some were $500-$800 each, but all were over $100). While the payments were confusing, because they could never tell us why each visit got more and more expensive, even if they were doing the same work, we went with it. However, 6 months after the fact, were getting bills from them because the insurance didnt cover the amount the office staff initially calculated. We were told our insurance was accepted, theyre in network. Weve talked to the insurance company regarding the difference and our insurance has told us they cover their care and all they need is for the office to submit the claim. Seriously? Are they not submitting the claim or are they just not submitting them correctly? Or did they calculated it wrong for every single visit and tell us the wrong amount? So now were stuck with a $250 bill we were not expecting. Weve forked out over $2500 in four months to this office for night guard, a crown, several fillings and three cleanings. So weve been making a payment every two weeks, and yet they still call all four numbers they have on file numerous times a month asking for us to pay off the one account. This seems incredibly disorganized to me. If the office staff headache wasnt enough, I dont really care for the work that was done. My teeth felt like I had sand on them after my cleaning. I immediately brushed them as soon as I got home. I did not opt to go back for my 6 month checkup. Flouride is apparently an extra cost for adults, which is new to me as every dentist I have had up until him offered flouride to all of their patients. Maybe this is why my teeth felt so gritty. Most of the work done on me and my family was done by a dental hygenist. Maybe this is the norm now, but they only work Dr. Clark did on my mouth was drilling. He would talk to me about my teeth, and he seems very knowledgable, but all of the work was done by dental assistants. I picked a small office for a reason, because I wanted a dentist to look at my teeth. I wanted that personal experience from someone who loves what they do and cares about their patients. The care was fine, but not what I was expecting. It probably would have been better if the office staff had a better understanding of how to work with their patients and their insurance companies. I really wanted to like Dr. Clark, because finding a new dentist is always tricky. But at this point, its worth it to drive 7 hours to spend the weekend in Cleveland to see someone I trust and I know will do a good job. Also, there are no Saturday hours and the evening hours they have are until 6pm two nights of the week. The website should be adjusted to reflect this.

I have been with East Springs Family Dentistry for about 4 months now after switching dentists recently. I needed some wisdom teeth removed right away and was able to book this with no problems. I can honestly say Dr. Clark is AMAZING at what he does. You cant even tell I had teeth pulled! I have since had several fillings (including the removal and replacement of old mercury fillings) and I am so pleased with their work. Dr. Clark is professional and honest. The other dental hygienists and are wonderful too. Office staff is also professional and courteous. Very happy patient!! Thank you East Springs Family Dental!
