I have worked with a variety of the vets in Murray. While all of our Murray vets are great, I have been the most satisfied with Dr. Bairds and her staff at Animal Health and Wellness. What sets AHW apart from the other vet clinics is that Dr. Bairds and her staff show how much they love the animals they treat. She develops a relationship with each animal she works with. It seems like a passion rather than just a job for her and her vet techs. The other thing that really stands out is that Dr. Bairds doesnt just treat symptoms. She works hard to figure out why the symptoms are occurring and then treats the cause rather than just treating the symptoms. Very impressive indeed! You couldnt ask for a better veterinarian or better vet techs than you will find at Animal Health and Wellness.

If you are looking for a compassionate veterinary office, I highly recommend this one. I just had a horrible experience with a stray lab to whom I became extremely attached in a few months time. He had some serious health issues, and ultimately, we had little choice but to have him euthanized. At every point that I had questions or concerns, Dr. Bierd took the time to speak with me personally regarding these difficult decisions, and afterward, was supportive and encouraging, along with the staff there. If I ever need veterinary services in the future, I will definitely choose Animal Health & Wellness Center of Murray.

I couldnt ask for a better place to take my dog. She had an eye accident and had to have surgery and she had to stay there for a bit. Dr. Bierd and the techs were so loving to her and tender. I can not thank them enough for helping me and Dexter for getting through this rough time for us. I know its not over with, but they are there for us all the way helping us. I can never thank them enough.
