The doctor and nurses were nice but the front office staff is horrible! On my first and only visit they made me pay up front, before being seen, the remainder of my insurance deductible of $181.00 even though I should only owe a $40 copay and was only being seen for an office visit. When I asked why I had to prepay my deductible I was rudely informed that it was their office policy and they are a pay as you go clinic and that I can pay or go! I went ahead and paid them knowing that I would end up with a credit that could later be refunded to me. It has now been over a month since I was seen and my insurance has notified my that they paid everything but my $40 copay. I have been trying for 2 weeks to call the office to request my refund but the front desk receptionist keeps giving me the run around and I can not get any of the multiple voicemail messages Ive left for the Billing Department, which consists of only 1 woman named Marcie, and also message left for Office Manager, Denise, returned. From my experience, they force you to pay money you do not owe then refuse to refund it. In my book, that is called theft.

Last year, my daughter visited this clinic to get a checkup on her foot. We had to pay before seeing the doctor(Dr. M. Copple), regardless of our good insurance. This clinic forced us to pay $200. I heard that the doctor was nice. Anyway, I have now found out that I am only responsible for $13.30. Today, I went to this clinic to get an explanation about this discrepancy at 12:40pm, but I was told that the billing person went to lunch and the receptionist told me that she would return around 1 or 1:30pm, so I decided to wait to see her. Finally, after a long wait, the receptionist called me and told me that the billing person went to a conference. The receptionist said that she doesnt know when the conference would end, either. I felt like they were ignoring me and avoiding me. I only wanted the explanation... She gave me phone # for the billing person, but as I expected, I was only greeted by the answering machine. Anyway, I made an appointment with her for tomorrow. I am not sure I could see her, but I will try... This clinic has a very bad policy...Just find another place to go to.

I had a partial hip replacement in 2011. I ask before we went in to surgery if we could pray. His response was very gruffly I pray every morning. That is fine so what was the problem praying again? Then I found out I was the last surgery of the day. Then he was off on vacation with his new wife. No problem right? Wrong he was in such a hurry too leave he screwed up my surgery. I now have one leg shorter than the other. No big deal to them. I confronted them with my problem response we calabrate it. I said well your calabrations must have been wrong. Got all huffy with me. Since then I had to go to a padiotrest I let him tell me if one leg was shorter than the other. He said yes my hips are off my knees are off. I knew then I was not dreaming this up. in the meanwhile I have developed severe back problems plus my left legs gives me a great deal of pain. Reason I lemp. My quality of life has been diminished to nothing. I went from a go getter doing all the time to can hardly get out of my chair. Dont go to petre

I had a knee scope for a torn meniscus and he did okay on put side but still hurt like hell so i went get another mri and started ? Him on why the mri still showing a tear well needless to say thats were the frickshon started. Then call for refill on med the nurse treated me as of i was a drug addict had to make a appointment pay 50 co pay and thats all they did was right my script which was un gare to pay 50 co pay just to get script. With the way the nurse treated me i found another doc and had another scope a low and behold a torn meniscus. Sew it up next day after scope no pain at all Dr David pope is great and no bs. My advise dont use petrie he just wanted too cut my knee off

I never saw Dr. Petrie, only a MA, although I did pay to see a physician So when I fell and hurt my foot severly I specifically asked for a visit with him and was told I had an overdue payment of over $100 that would need to be made before I could see him. I spoke with the insurance company who said I only owed $59.30 from a deductible. Ochsner Clinic was glad to see me. Thanks Oschsner!
