The sad part about this review is I have been a patient of Johns Hopkins Community Physicians-Canton Crossing for over 10 years and before today I would have given them 5 stars. I actually like my doctors but due to the bureaucratic nonsense that is now our Medical System in America, I can no longer do so. I had an appointment with my gynecologist for my yearly in November. I just received a bill in the mail for the co-pay. I called the billing department thinking they coded it wrong because through my insurance my yearly is fully covered. No co-pay. Come to find out while I was at my appointment my doctor asked me if I had any concerns over the past year I wanted to discuss. I did. My breast health and hormone levels. All something that one would think are completely relevant in a womans yearly check up. Because I answered her question and brought up my concerns they now billed me for an additional office visit. All because I spoke with my doctor. One, I feel like I was prompted to do this. And two, had I known just speaking with my doctor would incur additional costs to my insurance company and myself I would have kept my mouth shut!!! When speaking with a someone in billing, including a supervisor, I was told this is the protocol and legal. I made 1 appointment with about 15 minutes of face time from start to finish, including all the woman stuff that happens, so how can they bill for 2 VISITS!!! I originally started going to Hopkins for my health care knowing they have a reputation for the best doctors, but know knowing that they will shark their patients for every word uttered to them, I now want to find a new set of doctors in an institution that is more concerned with treating patients than it is about billing for the all mighty dollar. This is sad because practices like this only breed mistrust in the medical field and there is already enough of that.

Ive been a patient for over 20 years. My children have been going all of their lives. I tried to make an appointment for my child with adult medicine. They told me only one dr was excepting new patients which is crazy because my child is not new to the facility just new to an adult dr but any way. I was told that the only dr that was excepting new patients didnt have an available appointment until October. Now what kind of mess is that. Cant get an appt for another 6 months. Cant wait that long going elsewhere. I use to love this place but Ive had too many issues just in the past year with this place so Im just going to release my stress by taking me and my husband away from there.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is awful they are somehow always backed up almost an hour so expect to wait every time you make an appointment. Getting ahold of any of the receptionists when you call is almost impossible. They dont give you anything you need including referrals. Just save time and dont go here there are plenty of other (better) doctors out there

We have had a great experience here with our daughter. They are thorough and polite and make sure you know all you need before you go home. The staff are friendly and make sure youre taken care of. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else!
