“Holy Cow, theyd never believe it... if my friends could see me now... ” The lines from this old dog seem to say it all. , I had a total knee replacement. Although I had been in pain for almost a year, nothing prepared me for the work that was ahead of me as I entered into the next phase of my life, post surgical rehab. I spent the first three and a half weeks at home with in-house care that included a visiting therapist three times a week and a visiting nurse twice a week. I hobbled into the surgeons office for my three week follow up visit, to be told my rotation was only 65% and my extension was equally poor. If I could not get to 90% by six weeks, I was told I would be a candidate for “surgical rotation” under general anesthesia. Panicked, depressed and convinced that I was never going to get anywhere near 90% rotation, I entered into the world of my beloved physical therapists at Chesapeake Physical & Aquatic Therapy. They were wonderful in getting me back on my feet in no time. Now Im walking around in no pain and would definitely recommend Chesapeake Physical & Aquatic Therapy to anyone.

Everyone working here is great. They are friendly from the moment you walk through the door to when you leave, and on Day 1 people are calling you by name. All of the therapists are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and they all ensure they share notes to stay up to date with each patient. The assistants and therapists manage their time very well to keep at least one persons attention on you at all times. In one short month they all helped me improve my injury tremendously, and each employee is there to encourage you to keep working hard and improving. I would absolutely recommend going here - my only regret is that I waited a year before finally scheduling an appointment with Pivot!

The therapists and staff are wonderful. They are always pleasant and all of them remember me by my first name and are constantly checking and monitoring my progress. They are pretty knowledgeable of their trade. The facilities is always clean. I cant say single bad thing about this place. 5 stars all the way!!!!
