Friends of Falmouth Dogs recommended Deer Run Veterinary Services to me while I was in the process of adopting Kain. and observed he had an ailment of some sort in his hindquarter area. Dr. Palmer was caring and thorough as he made his evaluation that Kain ultimately needed both back knees replaced as both showed severe rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Palmer displayed a very caring mannerism to both Kain and myself throughout the evaluation process. Kain, barely 2 yrs. old at that time, was a bit over 100 lbs., strong and often unruly. I was extremely nervous not knowing how Kain would react in these surroundings, however, the entire staff were gentle and knowledgeable in handling large animals and quickly put my anxiety to rest. Kain has been with me for over a year now, had both knee replacements and is comfortably "crazy active"!!! I will always be thankful to Dr. Palmer for his prompt and thorough evaluation, his caring mannerism, his professionalism and his ability to empathetically go through the process of explaining the prognosis.

I had a very good experience at Deer Run Veterinary in Falmouth, MA. I was new in this area and needed a great Vet for my cat Baxter. I asked around to get locals opinions and Deer Run was #1. Having had my own Pet Care Business in CT for many years I was quite hesitant about using a new Vet. But, I had also learned that Deer Run cares for all the kittens and cats at People For Cats. I am a volunteer at People For Cats and have seen the exceptional work and love given by Deer Run. Baxter had a relaxed and helpful visit at Deer Run. Phew! I really appreciate all of the staff at Deer Run. My dog is very nervous around people, she is also afraid of things that move and anything that looks like it might be dangerous (ie: bags of food on the floor, coats on chairs, etc.). Im so thankful the staff keep track of this type of information when it pertains to making vet visits less scary. My dog doesnt mind being up on the exam table, but she is terrified of the table when it moves. The staff are very patient while I get Lola into a sitting position and then lift her onto the table. They have also asked me to stand in certain places so Lola can see me while they examine her. This has made our visits so much better!

I recently changed vets to Deer Run Veterinary Services. My cat hd to be seen right awayand Deer Run saw him that day even though he was not even one of their patients yet. I was extremely happy with the staffs professionalism, caring, and dedication. Because the doctor listened to all of the symptoms that I had noticed over the last couple of days, he was able to exactly diagnose my cats problem. My old vet told me to make my cat "comfortable" because he only had a short time left. Because of Deer Runs attention to detail, my cat has never been healthier! I would HIGHLY recommend Deer Run Veterinary Services!!

We visit family in Woods Hole every summer and bring our dog with us. This trip we noticed that her eye was bothering her. I had never been to Deer Run before yet they scheduled an appointment for the same day. The staff was friendly and professional. The Veterinarian did a very complete exam checking for damage as well as disease. It turned out to "only" be a case of conjunctivitis - we got ointment for her eye and were on our way quite quickly. I was very pleased with the care that our dog received and will now use Deer Run whenever we are in Woods Hole.

Deer Run Vet has always been wonderful with my animals. 2 dogs & 1 cat. When my cat had a major incident, they saw her right away & did everything they possibly could for her. When we had to put her down, they were compassionate & very helpful with everything. They are wonderful with my dogs that arent fans of going to the vet. They do everything they can to get them in & make them feel as comfortable as possible. Deer Run Vet has great employees from reception, medical assistants, & doctors. I would recommend them to anyone with pets that need care.

Deer Run is my favorite Vet in Falmouth. Over the years, Ive had the opportunity and exposure to many other veterinary service providers and, when one rises above the rest, its pretty obvious. I find the clinical staff to be not only proficient and compassionate but also genuine in their practice. The front desk staff rises above as well with professionalism, cutesy and above all stellar customer service. I took my puppy to Deer Run on a semi-emergency basis for sudden unexplained lameness. Dr. Couture and the tech (whose name I dont remember) were both excellent. Dr. Couture explained everything she was doing in detail, answered all my questions, and was thorough and gentle with my pup. I can highly recommend Deer Run, though my current experience is limited to Dr. Couture. I should say that that have 4 Havanese and also show them, so I have a lot of experience with vets. :)

Best Veterinary Office in Falmouth! Our animals have been cared for by this team for about 20 years. Dr Palmer, who also cares for farm animals , volunteered to speak to our Poultry Club. It was a great meeting; and, we learned a lot. Dr Alfanso is great with rescue dogs. Our new dog is still suspicious, but behaviors well with the kind handling. Thank you for this chance to let folks know what a great team you all are.

I and all my "furry friends" have been going to Deer Run for over 30 years now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. All the doctors and employees are so kind and caring.We have had many boo-boos, big and small, but all taken care of with due diligence. We even brought in a couple of our chickens in for treatment a couple of times. And, when the news ends up not so good, you even receive a sympathy card - thats compassion!

Our Jacoby has always experienced the Loving Care at Deer Run that they advertise. He is our second dog that has been to Deer Run. We lost our first to a tumor while in Florida and Deer Run personnel were very helpful to the Doctors there. They also called to express their sorrow when we had to put him down. We truly trust their people and services. They are like family.
