The fact that I continue to bring Phinney to the HFVC should tell you that our experience at the clinic has been wonderful. Ive only ever been to one other vet clinic where I first met Dr. Holmes -- and she has been terrific with my birds. Im amazed at the wonderful staff she has assembled since opening her own clinic. All are not only professional but I love the way they interact with Phinney. On the two occasions he has had to stay for 10 days, he doesnt seem to have messed me at all LOL. And I have fared just as well knowing that he was not only getting excellent care but was also getting lots of love and attention. I also appreciate the large, comfortable waiting area at the HFVC, especially when people come in with their big dogs. Nothing against dogs but I dont like them coming at me.

The people at the Holmes Family Veterinary Clinic are like no other veterinary staff I have met. The moment the almost home like office is entered, the feeling of calm is a huge change from other vet clinics. The people at the desk do a great job at knowing who you are and why your there, even phone conversations are painless. The Doctors, knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding. The connection they have with the animals, unmatched. The whole office makes you feel like part of a family. The animal’s safety and health is always a priority; doing whatever it takes to make sure the pet gets what they need. Their ability to talk like a pet lover to a pet lover rather than to a patient or customer, is a real breath of fresh air. No star count can quantify how highly I respect this place.

Just had another excellent appointment with Dr. Holmes. Our little girl had another lump that needed to be looked at. It is always a stressful time. Dr. Holmes makes the appointment so much easier. Our girl just loves Dr. Holmes. Dr. Holmes makes your kids feel so safe at what is usually a scary place. Both of our girls cant get out of the truck fast enough to run up to the door in hope of a glimpse of Dr. Holmes. Whatever Dr. Holmes is treating them for all they want to do is just keep licking her. Our family would recommend Dr. Holmes to anyone who is looking for a doctor for their four legged children . The girls give Dr. Holmes 5 tail wags each.

Hello Pet Owners...My name is Gizmo and I am 11 yrs old Shih Tzu. I have been to a few vets in the Walpole area and 4 yrs ago I found Dr. Holmes and love her. She is the best. At the time she was at Windhover Vet. Well now she has her own practice. Holmes Family Vet. Yaaa As a owner I cant say enough good about Dr. Holmes, She is the most caring and genuine person I have come across in this field and wouldnt take Gizmo anywhere else for he means the world to me and is truly my best friend and I KNOW he is safe and cared for with her. Period. You really should give her a try. I think you will be very happy...Seriously Ken A

I bring my dog and three cats here and have been so happy with the service! Dr. Holmes and Dr. Fiske and all of the techs are so wonderful with my animals (during visits for two of my cats, Dr. Fiske had trouble listening to their heartbeats because they wouldnt stop purring!). Their rates are extremely reasonable and its very clear that the entire staff cares deeply for their patients. The doctors and techs always take the time to answer all of my questions, and Ive never felt rushed out at the end of an appointment. I trust this practice and will continue to bring all my pets here for as long as I live in the area!

Dr. Holmes and her staff have cared for my pet family for 17 years. We have gone from puppy and kitten-hood to very old age over those years and never once wondered if we had chosen the right path caring for our pets. During that time we have received education, advice, empathy, tough love, comfort and ultimately complete family emotional support caring for and loving our pet family members. Miraculous. My guinea pig, Piper, suffered from a stroke, and was in terrible shape when we brought her to the Holmes team. I thought for sure my family would be saying goodbye to a beloved family member. Dr. Holmes kept her overnight to give her the best chance we can and in the morning, little Piper was making the most amazing recovery Ive ever seen in a pet or person. It seemed miraculous to me. I cant thank Dr. Holmes and her team enough for the amazing care they gave, for the kindness they showed when we thought she wouldnt make it. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my pets care.

Dr. Holmes has the patience of a saint with my parrot. He makes her chase him around the room and under chairs until caught. Yes hes a one person bird. Dr Holems knows how to handle not only my parrot but all animals that go to her office in such a loving caring way. All the staff is also that way that you know your pet will be treated with love and respect even if your pet (like my parrot) could care less and just wants out. If you want your pet to be treated with love and get excellent care go see Dr Holmes and staff. You will be happy you did.

I found Holmes Family Veterinary Clinic while looking for an exotic veterinarian for my bunny, Cleo. I was so impressed with the care that Dr Holmes and her staff gave to Cleo, that I decided to bring my cats there as well. I feel that Dr Holmes, Dr Fiske, and the vet techs treat my animals as if they were their own. They spend as much time with us as needed, answer all of my questions, and never rush the appointments. They are more like "family" than a veterinary office. I am thankful to have found this clinic!

Our dog, Bruno, has been our best friend for over 8 years. We have lived in many different places since adopting him and therefore have plenty of "new patient" vet experiences. Holmes Family Vet Clinic is by far one of the best. At no point did it feel like Bruno was just another number on an assembly line. The entire staff took the time to get to know us and him. I left the office feeling confident that we found a great new Vet. I would highly recommend Holmes Family Vet Clinic.

I travel forty minutes to take our super sensitive poodle Twizzy to Holmes Family Veterinary clinic in Walpole. I dont ever give the drive a second thought in spite of the many clinics much closer to my home in Lincoln. I know every time, no matter what, that Twiz will be totally at ease and that she will receive superior, thoughtful and expert care by Dr. Holmes and her cracker jack team. I truly would not take her anywhere else.

As the owner of a lovely wheaten who is a fearful dog, I greatly appreciate the time Dr. Holmes, Morgan, Nancy and the rest of the staff take to insure Guss feels secure in their care! When Guss had an ear infection, Morgan took the time to teach me the best way to clean his ears and apply the medication. I am always grateful I have Holmes "Family" Veterinary Clinic to turn to as they really do treat the whole "family!!"
