Stay clear of this practice if you love your pet. I had a very negative experience with their administrative staff and head of the practice. I called asking for some general information and for estimates because I was trying to get medical attention for my dog. I already had a pretty good idea of what was going on. I just needed to know the upfront costs associated with with all the tests and treatment and wanted to know a worst case estimate. They wanted me to come in and pay for tests to tell me what I already knew. They couldnt tell me any of the other costs except for the initial consultation. Which was actually quite low $58. Nice try (reel me in, hey we got a big a big one here) well this conversation is over. I called two other places and got two estimates upfront. This is just bad business practice. To add further insult to injury they sent me a post card the next day stating bring this card in and well give you $20.00 off your fist exam. I was livid. I called them explained who I was and questioned why they did what they did and asked them to take me off their mailing list and asked them why they sent me this card when they did not offer to help me and. After I questioned them about it and explained how insulting this was they hung up on me. Immediately called back and the same person answers on speaker phone and pretends she didnt just speak to me two seconds ago. I repeated my complaint and requested another time that they take me off their list and confirm that they would..it was just dead silence..This was a Very Bad Initial Experience. They should not be in business if this is how they treat potential new clients I cant imagine how they treat their animals.

Dr. Poor has treated my 2 cats (one of whom has significant, serious health issues) for 7 years now. I am so happy I found her practice - she is one of the best vets I have ever met (expertise, instinct, compassion), and has an equally qualified staff (cant say enough about how much they care). Highly recommended.

Dr. Poor and her staff have cared for 4 of our cats and our dog. Each animal had its own issues over the years and Dr. Poor and her team has always considered the medical conditions and personalities of each animal. They have been extremely kind and caring. I cannot say enough about them.
