This has got to be the WORST animal hospital I have ever been to. Besides the fact that they are VERY expensive (compare their prices to others.. youll be surprised how much more your paying for the same vaccines and same lab tests) they do not care about the pets. I brought my lab Sam there in the beginning of the year and boy was that a mistake. The Doctor was very quick and to the point. I guess there is no time to get to know the patients when you have to move on to the next patient. Get em in and get em out should be their motto. Not only did the doctor rush and kept forgetting Sams name but couldnt keep his gender straight. The doctor kept saying "she is" and "her weight..." I know he was neutered but he is still a male. I think part of the problem is that when you go to the Animal Hospital of Nashua you have a hospital but not a doctor. They have so many doctors there and they keep changing. That may not bother some but it bothers me. I want my pets veterinarian to know them and know their medical issues. A friend of mine recommended Banfield but wasnt thrilled about bringing my dogs through a Pet Smart where they are exposed to whatever the other dogs there have (kennel cough, dog flu, etc). After hesitation I brought my other lab Chloe there and boy what a difference. The doctor there had already reviewed Chloes medical history and seemed very familiar with her even thought they never met. She needed the same vaccines and bloodwork that Sam needed and boy what a price difference. Both hospitals use the same vaccine and same lab for the bloodwork and poop analysis but what a difference in cost. I wish there was a VCA hospital in the area as I have had the best care there but until they open one here Banfield will do.

I am seeing the bad reviews and have to wonder if they are talking about a different Animal Hospital. My experience with Animal Hospital of Nashua on 168 Main Dunstable Road was without a doubt outstanding! You may think after what I tell you that I am an unfit pet owner but believe me i am not. Kittens are into everything they can be. My kitten got into my clothes dryer when I left the room to get my clothes out of the washer. Clothes in, turned on and about half an hour later I heard a noise like when sneakers are being dried. My heart sank as I remembered all the times I saw him hop in and possibly he had without me seeing him this time. I ran to the dryer to find my lifeless kitten not breathing inside the dryer. I immediately immersed his body in cool water and pumped his chest and miraculously he started breathing. I took him to Animal Hospital of Nashua and After this experience they will be the only one I go to. We all felt there wasnt much chance for him to survive but started IV for dehydration, medicine for possible brain swelling and pain meds immediately anyway. They kept me updated at every change and sent me pictures of him when he walked, when he purred again and when he just wanted and was ready to come home. Yes there were X-rays and blood tests but none that were not necessary for this situation. They worked with me on costs and helped me get Care Credit which I knew nothing about and I believe my final cost is close to half what other places would charge. Please, no matter what you think of me, leave no doors open when it does not have your full attention ! We were lucky!!! He has almost all his eyesight back and his burnt ears are healing. Thank you so much everyone at the Animal Hospital of Nashua.

Went there for an emergency, with one of my cats, Upon arrival from home, after being out for a couple hours, Squirt, the youngest of my 5 cats, was bleeding heaviley from his mouth and wheezing for breath, from some obvious internal injury, We my friend and I, sat there for over an hour the cat was in oxygen, while I made payment arrangements with a relative (Since I only had $180.00 cash on me, at the time). While waiting for the phone call back, I could hear my cat crying, weather it was in pain, due to his injury, or the fact that the cat was in a cage without having any contact with me, in a strange inviroment, I couldnt take much more of it.Just when I had enough, the "assistant" came back in, asking if we received a call about payment arrangments, so they could x-ray my cat, because "he has some obvious trauma"! My friend, who came with me, obviously upset, stated that if this is about money, that he would have just put the rest on his credit card and why hadnt the cat received any care as of yet?! There explaination was, they were waiting on payment conformation, first. To add insult to the injury,They thought bringing the "manager" in to resolve the situation,(simply an intimidation factor) to take care of any conflict........Damage Done! If I, or my friend walked into any Hospital in Nashua bleeding profusisly from a head wound, the last thing (Id hope) they would do (as a matter of fact, I know that they wouldnt do) is wait for payment arrangments, before youd bleed to death! WHY IS MY CAT ANY DIFFERENT! Took Squirt to someone who really cares about care and not the almighty dollar! NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I had to give 1 star so I could post. I have had to use this animal hospital 3 times due to night time emergencies and all 3 times they were horrible! 1st time - my dog (puppy) ate a poisonous mushroom and needed his stomach pumped. They called the next day and told me he was ready to be picked up - he looked horrible when i got there but they assured me he was fine. Had to bring him back within 4 hours because he still very sick - they said they were understaffed the night before and did not have time to properly monitor him! 2nd time - my cat had urinary crystals and was in severe pain. Brought him in and the vet told me she was concerned because he had a severe heart murmur and she didnt think he would survive surgery. I asked that he be given a pain med to relieve his discomfort while i called family to come down to say their goodbyes to him. Surprise! as soon as they gave him the meds, he was able to relax enough to pass the crystals, and my normal vet said his heart murmur was not severe and he most certainly would have done fine had he required surgery. 3rd time - my 14.5 year old dog was dying and in pain. We had to bring him in because our normal vet was closed. The vet kept insisting he was fine and all we needed to do was give him more pain meds. Our dog was in pain, shivering, not eating and not moving. She would not listen to us until I finally yelled at her about his quality of life. She became nasty, told us how the procedure would be performed and left the room. The bedside manner from almost everyone involved in this painful process was horrible, very cold and uncaring.
