I would give this place a zero if I could...the same goes for the Fairhaven location. This is the 3rd time I have brought my child to a Southcoast hospital group urgent care facility and they refused to treat them. My 5 year old daughter had a confirmed acute ear infection and they refused to give her antibiotics to treat it. The Physicians assistant that saw her said that 70% of ear infections are caused by a viral infection, so they dont treat them anymore. What about the other 30% that are bacterial? Anyways I called the on call pediatrician in Dartmouth and they viewed the record on the Southcoast informations systems. They read that it was a confirmed ear infected and promptly booked an appointment for my daughter within the hour. My daughter saw a pediatric physician within the same hospital group the same day a couple hours later and was prescribed antibiotics. I will not be bringing anyone in my family to these urgent care centers again and will be filing a complaint with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. Take away, DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE. They want money, but dont want to provide treatment for you or your children. It is strictly run by PAs who are not willing to treat patients outside of Southcoasts Health Systems strict guidelines.

Let me preface this with saying I am from a medical family. Sister is a Dentist, father was a Dental Surgeon and know quality medical care when I have it. Staff is very courteous and friendly, premises is clean and well kept. Easy access and parking a plus. Problem not enough is explained to you in detail at end of visit. Before leaving an EMT who had very little to do with your treatment provides the discharge papers with prescriptions. Yes they are good with writing out scripts..but if those only serve to "handle" symptoms instead of focusing on curing you. Thus symptoms will come back eventually, so seems they are not good at connecting the dots and forming a diagnosis and proper course of treatment/referral. In one visit, was given prescription for something which I couldnt even use unless I rented a piece of medical equipment...again lack of explaining course of treatment at end of visit is critical to positive end result outcome. I would go here again, just need to modify their discharge procedure by spending a few extra minutes with their clients.

Great service. They treated me for a sore throat. They were all super nice to me. I went the day before to a CVS walking clinic and my experience was horrible. They could not prescribe anything for me, didnt even check my temperature and I only got worse later that day to the point where I couldnt even speak and had a bad fever all night long. When the nurse saw me at Southcoast, took my temperature right away and when the Dr. came in he was honest and he said the same thing as the other Dr. at CVS about having a virus and not being able to treat it but that he was going to make sure I wasnt in that much pain and was going to try his best prescribing an antibiotic and to just wait for the virus to take its own course on. He gave me a higher dose of medication and surprisingly later that night I was able to speak better and without pain. It has only been 2 days since I was there and I feel better everyday. Thank you so much!

What ever you do - DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE with a child. I took my son here for a tick bite that got a bulls eye and after agreeing that it was a bulls eye and probably LYMES disease they insisted on drawing blood to test. The nurse came in, stuck the needle in my four year olds arm and after five tries of jabbing it around inside still didnt have any blood. I asked her to take the needle out and try again and she stormed out of the room and told us we should be "at a hospital". Turns out she was right. When we saw a real doctor she said they never test for LYME if they are pretty sure its there because the test can be negative for a long time after the patient is infected so the protocol is to just prescribe the antibiotics. Not only was my child traumatized by the nurse who didnt know how to draw blood but the doctor was wrong. This urgent care is one Id urge you to skip entirely, even if its your only option.

Extremely fast, reliable, professional, and thorough treatment and service! My son had a horrible illness that would not go away!! His fathers family had been fighting an especially nasty respiratory infection, but had never taken our son to see the doctor. Urgentcare treated my son promptly. It ended up to be an ear infection with other horrible aliments. The doctor did prescribe antibiotics, and they even followed up with us by phone. All my sons aliments quickly subsided with the antibiotics! I will definitely return and recommend this facility!!

I came for a simple problem, waited just to be registered for 40 minutes, then waited another 45 minutes to be called in. Now here I am sitting in the exam room UNEXAMINED for the last 40 minutes! Unbelievable! I need a prescription and thats it, better of wishing your illnesses away than coming here!

I was so hesitant to try an urgent care center for the first time so I wouldnt have to drive an hour each way to my PCP, but Im so glad I did. I was in & out in under an hour (Wednesday afternoon) and the staff was excellent!
