Patients beware! In my opinion Pentucket Medical is the worst medical establishment I have ever come across. If you are hoping to receive doctor care, of the PhD type, you will not find that here. You will 99% of the time deal with nurses or MDs. I didnt meet my primary care doctor for TWO years. Other people have told me similar stories from Pentucket Medical. The nurses and doctors do not return phone calls. If you need to cancel an appointment you better not leave a message because they wont return or make note of your call. The entire Pentucket Medical organization is run so poorly. Their standard procedures are faulty and make little sense. Their allergy department has a hidden rule which patients will not be aware of. If the Pentucket Medical doctors or nurses are late that is acceptable and to be expected. But if you are a few minutes late to an appointment they can deny you service. I received much better care in college. I hope my review has made you think twice about setting up an appointment with Pentucket Medical. And if you are already a patient Im sure you are shaking your head in agreement. Please post your review to illustrate my point.

As a health care provider I have been less than impressed by PMA. Ive had a number of recent issues that required I speak with someone from this practice to coordinate care of a mutual patient, cant even get through to a human on the phone. I spent >40 minutes on hold at 8:30 AM, had to hang up to see a patient, then called back on my lunch hour and spent another 20 minutes on hold. I tracked down another phone number, got a human and explained my situation only to be transferred back to the same on hold number!! Out of frustration, I tracked down the name of the CEO, called and left a message with my concern. He didnt even have the decency to respond. Nice! If you live in the area, Id suggest a Lahey Clinic community practice. Yes, its a huge medical machine but they pride themselves on prompt, courteous customer service. Plus, if you have a significant medical issue, you cant get much better than Lahey Clinic anyway. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time here.

The worst nurse ever is Diane! She does not care about a and will lie and tell you to find a new doctor if God forbid you ask for healthcare! This office is poorly run, the dont return phone calls nurses or doctors and if you ask to come in when ur sick , Ha! Good luck with that theyll just tell u to go to the hospital! Oh and if u need a prescription refill, they want u to come into the office, but they dont have any appointments available! Wont even refill an inhaler! Whats the point of even having a doctor! I gone to more E.R.s and walkin clinics than to the office. And I get better care there from than from my primary care!!!! The absolute worst office ever! The practice has gotten so big that they cant take care of anybody. So maybe now after I and others go to another practice for health care, they will get so small because they compromise care, that they can take care of their other patients

Ull b seen by unfriendly medical assistants and a different nurse practitioner every time u go in without anyone telling you that... They will b unfamiliar with your past medical history and wont take time to prepare for you as a patient... U wont b able to c your primary care physician after your initial visit because they use physicians only initially just to get you in and get your business... After that it will b a series of nurse practitioners who cant make most immediate decisions without checking with the doctor first... Which means it will take days until u get care u need... Ull b treated as a robot with a serial number, not as a human being in need of compassionate health care... Great place for robot repair though...

Had a physical recently; filled out the waiting room form re: depression or abuse.....no reference to it at all by the doctor even though depression was noted. Also she never asked about my diet or exercise or lifestyle. Apparently, she was only interested in writing a prescription. In fact, she complained about having to note the vitamins and supplements I took. This is healthcare?? Remember people, the USA is way down on the list behind some third world countries when it comes to the quality of healthcare. Ka-ching$, ka-ching$..."NEXT....your time is up"...felt worse than when I went in..... WHAT A RACKET!

Had to change my PCP to Dr. Beaudoin after Dr. Damiani left the practice. After getting switched over in April of 2016 I made an appointment for Oct. that was never actually scheduled in by the staff. Now they tell me I need to wait another 8 months for the 1st schedule opening. Give me a break! What a terrible and untrustworthy staff they have over there. How can anyone feel like theyre getting decent medical care by waiting 5 months for an appointment and then being told it will actually be another 8 months before you can see your doctor when you call in to confirm?

Its to bad your practice has gotten so big as the service has suffered greatly. I believe your staff, that deal with the public, such as the nurses of a certain doctor in the Newburyport office have much to do with it. The compassion that they have for patients is deplorable and also when you pick a primary doctor, aren`t you suppose to be able to see that doctor? Nothing against the nurse practitioners but I didn`t pick a primary practitioner?

OMG Megan said it all, and it is all true. I was going through a very ill period , needed to see the doctor the next week, per suregons orders, they said how about three weeks!!! Horrid!! would never step in there for a hang nail, there are too many good medical associations out there.. in my opinion, take the ride to Boston!!Note it made me rate it a one star minimum, but I would give it 0

I have had nothing but the most professional and friendly care at Pentucket Medical (Georgetown location). The very first time I went I had a complete work up and physical by my PCP - There were, or course, nurses who took blood, heart rate, blood pressure etc., but my experiences have been excellent, and I can comfortably recommend them very highly.

The nurses are terrible. I had a conversation with someone in the cardiology office where I go and she told me to call my primary care doctor. That is the second time I was told to call my primary care so from now on that is where I will go. I cant deal with the rudeness of the people working in he cardiology department.

Called this practice to schedule a new patient physical. Called six times on weekdays at different times of day and no one ever answered the phone... pathetic

I love my primary care doctor, Dr. Stephen Beaudoin, & have always been treated well by the nurses & office staff. Good location & easy parking. 5 stars!

It takes a very long time for anyone to return a call, if they call at all.
