I went here with major depression and panic attacks. I was a bit afraid at first and had no idea of what I was up against. I put my complete trust in the facility to make me well again and offer me a way out of the deep hole I was in. I did what I was told and tried to get as much out of the program as possible which meant attending all the group meetings as possible. It worked for me I came out with a great outlook on life and continuously have improved my mental well being. Im totally off medications and developed a very well structured life. My thanks to Pembroke Hospital.

Worst experience ever. I take meds for lupus and after asking about my meds 30 times, they never gave them to me or told me whats happening with them. I had stitches that needed to be dressed every now and then and I had to ask them to clean it a billion times like they couldnt speak English. They should just know. I was crying one night in my room because I was very depressed and all they did was stare at me. Not to mention, I got sick from their "food". I was highly constipated. It feels like a prison, not a place that wants you to get better.

They let my friend die there in 2015 because, they were to lazy to get off their ass and do proper checks and filled checks out hours in advanced. I was there twice before 1. I stopped breathing and 2. I saw they filled out checks in advanced especially overnight. I hate this hospital wish I could give no stars.

The care of inpatient staff was great! They deal with each individual in a kind and professional manor. Group classes were inspiring. I saw many that didnt attend them. You have to, no matter how depressed you feel, get out of bed and go to the meetings.

I asked one of the staff members for a glass of milk and she took the milk out and poured it on the ground on purpose, just to get a rise out of me. They treat you like children and its meds first questions later. Horrible place to go.
