I would highly Recommend to NOT go to this horrible facility. They never return phone calls to myself or my pharmacy(which texts and calls me telling me im due for a refill and they also will call AvisGoodwin to get authorization to refill my medication) They have way to many patients, (A few times ive gotten there like 10 minutes early and because of the huge lines I get blamed for being late) its not the receptionists fault Avisgoodwin spent all their money on arcitectual design and making the place look all fancy when they could have used that money to buy new medical equipment and better computers. I have talked to many other Doctors/Nurses/Counselors and other individuals that go there and who have all said that what is happening at Avisgoodwin is very unprofessional and negligent. Their " psychiatric " doctor Lisa Von Braun has no business being a psychiatric physician. She talks down at other doctors calling them stupid and idiotic just because I told her 2 other doctors gave me a hypothetial opinion on all of the different medications just puts you on all different kinds of medications that have nothing to do with my diagnosis, she just goes on google and looks for a medication you havent tried yet and says oh this medication will work even though you have none of the symptoms needed to qualify you taking this med. They will make you wait for days sometimes a week without refilling medications and they will take you off them and dont even have the courtisy to call and tell you they want to discontinue a medication, they will wait untill you try to refill your prescriptions and then they will tell you "Your doctor does not want to continue you on that medication". This place is greedy and all about money. Do you guys really need 40 foot high cealings? If you use their pharmacy for a while and switch to somewhere else be prepared to run into all kinds of problems with them. Avisgoodwin does not like it when you dont use their pharmacy or switch from using theirs to a different one and will start cutting you off medications or not calling, faxing, or emailing them to the pharmacy you used and if your pharmacy calls AvisGoodwin they just ignore your pharmacy and wont call them back. I could add way more to this, but its not worth my time, ive already wasted enough time dealing with AvisGoodwin. If you can find a different doctors office to go to do it, do not get sucked into this hell hole.

My honest opinion of Goodwin is that I hate it and I know that that is a strong word to use but the experience I had with the doctors if you want to call them doctors was horrific it is like a meat factory you might as well pick a number when you walk in the door and then your treatment by the doctors is disgusting Im happy to say I assigned a great doctor in Portsmouth I dont mind the drive to have a great doctor who cares about my health and who honestly save my life I would have died if I remained a good one due to the lack of knowledge and care that day obviously lack I went to my new doctor and had two surgeries and care I needed to remain alive and able to see my first grandson who will be born in January it is only my opinion have a good one that I had and Im just sharing that with the public just be aware and know whats going on around you when you go Goodwin Community Health I fear for anyone who goes there just please again be careful because it is your life that youre putting in their hands thank you for a reading and I hope it helps i wish i had this knowledge and information before I came here and put myself through the hell that I did .

My friend was referred to this office for care with her second child. At first glance, the place looks great - clean, fancy, beautiful. Three months later, they have been constantly changing appointments, cancelling them without telling her, failing to make them in the first place. She is approaching her 21st week, and she called them because they failed to follow up with her about her ultrasound to find out the gender of the baby for the THIRD TIME. The response at the doctors office? "Oh, youre going to have to call Wentworth, we dont do ultrasounds here." And of course Wentworths response is you cant make your own ultrasound, because the goddamn doctors office needs to do it! They found PRECANCEROUS cells in her pap, and all she has gotten from them are two fifteen minute appointments, and being treated like a ten year old. I wouldnt recommend going to this doctors office if you have literally any other option. Because they clearly do not give a damn.

Worst experiences ever. After today Im seeking a new doctor. The doctors Ive seen here dont care about their patients at all. Anytime I need a medication refill I call a week in advance because it takes them forever. They never call me back and when I come in the office (because no one returns my calls) the receptionists get angry at me... WHAT AM I TO DO?! I called to try something different for my anxiety and now my dr has prescribed me 2 things Ive already tried and dont like... Does she even check to see what Ive tried?! I feel like Im going to break. Also during my appts Im usually waiting forever for my appt and then they rush me through in 5 mins and leave me feeling even more confused. 0/10 would not recommend!

My prenatal care with my midwife was 5 stars and the primary care physician i loved so much i switched my family to care here. Doctor and her nurse are amazing but unfortunately the stress of waiting for everything is too much after a year and ill be finding new care. I get placed on hold every time i call, sometimes for so long i give up, waiting in line at reception usually takes about 10 minutes, and appointments are always, without fail, 45-60 minutes late. Messages left are returned sometimes days later, occasionally not at all, and appointments are sparse. The staff is great but gch had taken on more than it can handle without impacting patient care negatively. I will be sad to go.

My wife had a similar experience last year when she walked 3 miles with our 5 children, all under the age of 10 to Avis Goodwin, she called on her way to say she is running a few minutes late... she got there only a minute late, then was not helped for about 3 minutes while the receptionist chatted behind the glass... She was told she had to re-schedule and the next available appointment would not be for a few months, this appointment was to get our disabled son the proper help he needed!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Maybe instead of wasting money creating a palace you could have spent money on equipment and people . This building shows whats wrong with our healthcare , wasted money on frills, what was wrong with a regular building , do 30 foot ceilings make people better ? Did anyone think about the heating and cooling cost. I guess money doesnt matter because its mostly donated and government grants. You do realize that government grant money comes out of Americans pockets..
