PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO TO DOVER REHABS FACEBOOK PAGE FOR A FULL LOOK AT THE UTTER AND COMPLETE APPALING REVIEWS THAT THEY WONt SHOW HERE....THEY ONLY SHOW REVIEWS HERE FROM EMPLOYEES. CONFLICT OF INTEREST,!!!!! Before reading all this, get an accurate look by going to this facilitys face book page, you may be shocked! Also talk with the five stars for you on this page its all by employees of this company and even some managers which I find to be a huge conflict of interest and pretty sad when management and employees have the pad their own review because everywhere else has The much less I reported the review has a conflict of interest lets see if they do the right thing again go to the Facebook page for this and wait till you see what you see there. Dan, John Linda and tim are regional people in Connecticut. Padding reviews because all internets sites show true ratings 1.4. LOOK AT FACE BOOK, ,! I have been dealing with this facility for approximately seven months. In that time find my mother has adjusted well she is getting her medications on time shes eating shes a great sleep routine socializing She isp doing much better than when she was at home. My sister and I visit numerous times a week to see her, my brother calls her almost every night from Florida , We are very involved in my mothers care. The one star rating is due to the very real and very lacking fundamental human expectations. There appears to be a revolving door of employees entering and leaving I have spoken to people in the facility and outside the former families who have loved ones in this I have spoke I have shared my concerns with them and my concerns are exactly what they went through when they were going to this facility , that being said over the years there appears to be a very high turnover from the facility. no continuity no accountability no communication between shifts whatsoever and These are issues I brought up months ago and had to recently bring them up again. Ive never seen a business that is been around for so long that cares for our elderly who dont have any sort of policies or a schedule or any sort of communication devices to pass along information from shift to shift. What I will say before you decide to have a loved one coming to this facility is my mother didnt receive a shower for approximately one month . This was proven. Medicaid pays upward of $15,000 a month and my mother could not get a shower. Hindsight being 2020 obviously we would have gone elsewhere but now my mom is settled then she likes it there and so our options are not to move her but to fix the problems that continue to exist at this facility. We are not going away we are not going to forget we are going to keep the heat on . At this point in time I do not recommend this facility for your loved ones to be placed them they have a long way to go in fixing what appears to be an engrained type of system .I informed staff last Tuesday when I was told my mom has a cold and fever that 9 out of ten times it will become bronchitis. I felt it should be documented so she would not get too sick. I went in the following day and let Brenda know the same and asked if it were documented. It was not. Brenda said she would document.

As the Administrator of Dover Center For Health and Rehabilitation, I am proud to be associated with a team of competent and caring individuals. Our PASSPORT unit simulates an acute care unit with a team of highly skilled nurses and Licensed Nursing Assistants. The Therapists in the Therapy Dept. are the finest group of professionals that I have worked with. The building is clean and the food is fresh and appetizing. Recent Federal and State survey revealed no deficiencies in any nursing or clinical areas. In my 33 years of working in this field, this is the best post-acute facility that I have had the pleasure to be the Administrator. Certainly the most clinically capable post-acute facility in the region.

Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation is well know in the community for providing exceptional short term rehabilitation and nursing care. In addition, they have a number of specialty programs including, Cardiac , pulmonary and diabetic programs. Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation has a full time respiratory therapist who heads up their Pulmonary program and follows residents during their stay. They consistently have exceptional customer service results which correspond with their positive outcomes.

I have been employed at Dover Center for over 17 years, starting as a registered nurse and now the Director of Marketing & Admissions. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing team. From the moment patients and families enter our center they are treated with the kindness and compassion they deserve. I have such confidence in the staffs ability that Ive had two family members receive care here!

Nice job on your 9/11 picnic. Recognizing the local heroes of Fire, Police and EMS is a great way to give back to those who give so much to you and those in your community! You have a great bunch of employees at Dover Center - keep up the good work!
