I feel a strong urge to inform current parents and potential parents of how unprofessional the dentist at Worcester Kids Dentist is. I am a Worcester resident but I am not originally from here so when I relocated here I looked long and hard for a Dentist I could trust I felt from appearance online, and reading some reviews and impression on the phone that WKD was a good fit for my child. My child has only been here twice. The first appointment was a little irritating because we had to wait so long to get seen but once we were the dental assistants and Dentist was very kind to my child and extremely informative. Our second appointment was a bit over a month ago, we waited during this appointment but not as long as last time so I was pleased about that... during this appointment the Dentist seen my child asked for X-rays and sent us on our way when we got to the desk to check out the receptionist informed me I would have to make a sooner appointment because something was wrong with my child but she didnt specify what she just said it was noted on the paperwork. So I said that cant be right because the Dentist never informed me of that during the appointment or after the x ray. She seemed surprised and asked the Dentist to come explain to me whats going on so the Dentist comes over and tells me the issue I am very worried and ask her for clarification she gets frustrated and impatient with me and carries on a nonchalant dismissive attitude about my concerns about the information shes giving me. Ive never been treated like this about anything regarding my child and my request for more information. So she turns and walks away without really ending the conversation... I ask the receptionist if theres another Dentist my child can see there and she informs me that the Dentist that we seen runs this practice with a partner but shes the only one that sees patients. So I say fine dont worry about it and tell her I will call to make my childs next appointment, a month later I receive this in the mail.... how petty and childish is this ?

I highly recommend Worcester Kids Dentist. My 3 kids have been going there since day 1 and they love it (XBOX in the waiting room, games, flat panel TV while they work on your kids teeth, fun, fun, fun!) The atmosphere is fun and colorful, they have a therapy dog to greet and help the kids relax (Charlie: he is gentle, sweet, just adorable). The staff is well trained, polite and fair. I love them even more than my kids because they do an amazing job and "take their time." I am picky when it comes to teeth and they are the BEST. Also offering you preventive advise as needed. Basically, great for parents. Dr. Vera is trustworthy, wise, honest, an amazing doctor. I wouldnt trust my kids with anyone else. Dental health is VERY important for our family. Thank you Worcester Kids Dentist for your honesty and your excellence!

It was very hard to find a dentist patient enough to handle my autistic son. We tried several pediatric offices only to be asked not to come back. We have visited Dr. Vera and her staff for the last 3 years. We have had sleep dentistry done, basic cleanings, exams and drill and fills and every time my son was treated with patience, respect and care. I cannot thank Dr. Vera enough for the work she does with special needs kids. They recently got a newer office and it is very nice. Plenty of room and lots of toys and games kids will love.

i wish i had known about this office before. my son had been to quite a few dentists before i brought him here. i really didnt think that they were going to be able to do anything, but he came in, hopped right into the chair. they took xrays without gagging him, they cleaned his teeth. his previous dentist couldnt even get him to open his mouth. if you want somewhere where the staff is friendly and likes kids, or if your child is afraid of the dentist, then this is a place you might want to check out for yourself.

Very poor service brought my son here to get dental work done and the had the nerv to tell me only one parent is aloud in the room with him. Im sorry last I checked 100% of kids have two parents therefore two need to be aloud into the room. I recommend going somewhere else if your a parent who cares about their child and wants to be in the room while getting a dental operation done.

I feel that the office is too small to handle accomodate all of its patients. Beware, if your child has a cavity. The wait for an appointment at this place is 4-6 months! And the dentist doesnt even talk to you. If you ask her a question she just answers quickly and tries to hurry and get you out so she can go on to her next patient. Shes good to the kids, but she does a rushed job.

Me and my daughter love this place. Everybody is extremely friendly and patient with the kids. Dr. Vera is great. My daughter will have her appointment and will be asking me for the next six months when is time for her to go back. Something she never did with her previous dentist. If you are looking for a great services and great dental care this is the place!

This place is awful! I was very upset when I tried to reschedule my 4 yr old sons appointment. I was denied. Even after I told her that he was need of immediate dental care the receptionist refused to do so. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other kids dentist in the area...Small Smiles on Park Ave, Gentle Dental in Shrewsbury.

Great dentist office for kids, lots for them to do while they wait. TV screens for the kids to watch movies while they get their teeth cleaned. The staff is great!
