As a medical physician (MD) with a life-long history of dental problems, I visited this office literally on a whim after seeing an ad on television. After spending less than an hour in this office, I learned more about my options for dental prosthetics and implants than I had ever been made aware of before. The tech that took me back (I am sorry - I am terrible with names) apparently had a student with her, yet succeeded very professionally in not only explaining my options but showing them to me on a model as well. Then "Dr. Mike" (Dr. Michael Danelia, DDS) came in and gave me even more insights into my condition and options for treatment. As a medical professional, I only wish I could give Dr. Danelia, and his staff, more than five stars. Unfortunately, there is a stigma attached to people with bad teeth (LOL - I should know), but often times dental disease is like other health conditions - and is caused by genetics and having "soft teeth." So if you are having significant dental problems or are looking for dentures and/or a dental implant go so see these people. I give you my word - you wont regret it.

AWESOME!!!! That is the first thing that comes to mind. I was in a lot of pain and I knew I needed a root canal, The original dentist that I was supposed to see is only available on Saturdays. I searched for a dentist online, called Monday morning at 9 am and they got me in at 11 am. I work customer service and Im big on being treated right. When dealing with a business your front desk speaks volumes about the type of service you can expect. I am impressed with My Family Dental. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, everyone was courteous and professional. They made sure my pain was managed and responded quickly when the medicine began to wear off. They didnt bombard with my copay at all. When Michael knew what he was going to do for me (and my pain was under control) we discussed my copay. Their approach is awesome. This is the first time I have been in a dental office where there werent any problems at all. As much as I dont like the dentist I am looking forward to my follow-up appointment. If I could give them more than five stars I would. I definitely suggest you try My Family Dental.

It had been well over 2 years since Id been to the dentist, the fear of the dentist consumed me. After unbearable pain I finally went to the dentist. Sitting in the Lobby was when I first met Dr. Mike, he looks so young and I didnt expect him to be the dentist! He greeted me in the lobby and you could tell he was a passionate dentist, not a judgmental money hungry dentist that Ive encountered in the past Then I met Amanda, she was reallllly easy to talk to and made me feel really comfortable. Long Story short, I am soooo happy I went there, I was comfortable (as could be my fear isnt paralyzing anymore) and I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Mike is the coolest dentist Id ever met and his playlist is amazing! I could go on and on but you get the point! Go see Dr. Mike hell take care of you! Bridget will lay out so many options so that you arent overwhelmed with payments and Amanda and Sherry will take great care of you!

After being in unspeakable pain and going through two dentists and an oral surgeon, I called my family dental as an emergency because i couldnt take the pain or the month and a half appointment I was set up for at the other place. They got me right in the same day and dedicated themselves to my issue, THE TOOTH. They didnt try to get me in for a cleaning or fill any cavities, they fixed my problem right away and because of that, they are getting ALL of my business. Sometimes people dont understand that you cant measure pain. So if a patient is telling you they are in terrible pain, BELIEVE THEM. And work to fix that issue first before trying to pump money out of the insurance company for cleanings and fillings. I am with Dr. Danelia because he seems to care about ME, not how much money he can get from the insurance company. He gets 30 Stars in my book!!!!!

by Ralph Williams I got a card in the mail for My Family Dental office Grosse Pointe . My wife called and got an appointment the same day. When we arrived at the office we were greeted with a smile by the front desk staff and the Dr. Our first impression was, this is a place I want my dental work done . When I was taken in the exam room Dr Mike listen while I told him the reason for my visit. . He then explained treatment options to me. When I informed him I didn’t have dental insurance he said they have an in house insurance plan that will allow me to get the dental work done. My experience was positive and I would recommend this office and have to anyone who is looking for a professional yet friendly office to have dental work done. I’m looking forward to a long relationship with them. Thank you all for making us feel welcome.

I had an excellent experience! For my first office visit they suggested I bring in my 4 year old to help him be more comfortable on his first visit, and allowed him to be super interactive in the process, which was amazing! He got to look into my mouth, watch them take photos, and sit in the room with me during my exam. Hes a very energetic and conversational child and they were extremely accommodating and patient with him, which really meant a lot to me. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. They even designed my treatment around my insurance coverage to prevent me from having to pay excessive out of pocket costs, which was a HUGE WIN. Dr. Mike was very friendly and positive, and had a solid plan in place for my dental care, all on the first day. Im looking forward to continuing my familys dental care with Dr. Mike and his team.

I went to My Family Dental a year before I actually received service. My first consultation was scary for me because I literally have a phobia of the dentist. As I sat there with my jaw slightly swollen because I had an abscess for a tooth that have have been avoiding to get fixed for years tears rolled down my eyes Dr. Mike told me I will be okay and he promised no pain. I couldnt get the services done that time but came back ready only because this is the first time I went to a dentist that understood my phobia. Once I did get the procedure done there I felt no pain as Dr. Mike promised. I am now proud to be a patient here at My Family Dental Grosse Pointe! I am actually not running from the dentist but to the dentist .. Thank You Dr. Mike and staff for helping me find a place that makes me feel comfortable.

My dental appointment consisted of a deep cleaning only. Since my left side was already numb, I decided to get prepped for a Crown on my bottom tooth. Why not just numb the right side while youre in there and do two fillings on the two top teeth. Im a trooper. Dr Michael Danelia is theeeeeeeebest dentist Ive ever had. Such a compassionate, caring and personable Dentist. Dr Michael Makes you feel very relaxed. I was so relaxed I felt like taking a nap with snoring asking for a pillow and blanket. Even my 12 year old enjoy going to the dentist. The staff are very caring and friendly. Before I could leave the office good, my co- worker had booked an appointment after reviewing my Facebook coment about Dr. Michael. So if youre searching for a dentist, My Family Dental in Grosse Pointe is the place.
