The Dr. seemed like a great guy and they certainly have all the bells and whistle but when it comes to honest and ethical business practices Dr. Gilmer does not measure up. I found the Dr. first then advised my wife to go too. We would NOT have gone to him if he had not been on our dental insurance PREFERRED dentist list. Then earlier this year we noticed we were being asked to pay, at the time of the visit, an amount that sounded higher than what we though it should. Their explanations used insurance speak. It was always some vague story about how they dont know what the insurance company would pay. In May, my wife discovered that Dr Gilmer had ended his PREFERRED status with Met Life in January and his staff knew full well that was why the amounts were not what we expected. When we stood right in front of them and asked why the numbers didnt seem right, they knew why, and did NOT tell us. They knew the truth and made the conscious choice to lie right to our faces about it when the ONLY honest answer should have been, "we chose to end our Preferred status with Met Life", not a song and dance routine. Did they not think wed eventually figure it out? We over paid all this year. $898 worth of work they billed the insurance company for, our share of it much higher because of the change in status. We would have gone on this way if my wife hadnt overheard something in the office. I went to their office and the person who always had spoken to us was not there and the Dr. was busy. Still, I told the receptionist that I thought they had hustled us, that they had engaged in an unethical business practice by not truthfully answering questions about what we were being ask to pay them right then. She did not protest what I was saying nor did they deny my accusation. I asked them to have the business manager, or Dr. Gilmer to call me. Of course, that call never happened. I was enamored by all the nice stuff in their office and I had thought the Dr. was a dentist I could count on long into the future. Now I’ll tell everyone I can, this story. And, oh by the way, the loose crown he re-cemented in April just came off again yesterday and broke the tooth it was attached to at the gum line.

After moving tree years ago Florida. I was looking for a good dentist with experience in veneers. After visiting few dentist in the Columbus area without success, I finally came across to The Dental Center at Easton with Dr. Gilmer. The professionalism and friendliness it can be experienced as soon as you get in the office. I love the fact that I dont have to wait when I have an appointment; they are really flexible and have a quick turn around when responding to your questions or emergency visit; if needed. I was really impress to see that Dr. Gilmer is truly behind the services he offers and tries to go above and beyond to improve his patient health and cosmetics needs. So far, Im really happy with the results Im getting, with their services and their treatment.

Well first off I should mention I had no insurance at the time and so I was very apprehensive about seeing any dentist at this point. (for not having insurance its not that bad at all, actually very good) After being in pain for two weeks I was referred by my sister and made an appointment with Jessica to see Dr. Brad. When I arrived at dentist office I was amazed on how sweet there office was, I mean it was ridiculous a big flat pannel on the wall over a fireplace, really nice coffee & drinks, I was just waiting for someone to pop out & hand me keys to a new Cadillac. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Jessica and filled out some paper work (like 2 pages) and was immediately seen soon after. I was sat down in a office over looking Easton and noticed the chair had its own personal flat pannel TV, I was handed a remote and was told to watch what ever I wanted, "Im like this cool" ... I thought two things at this point, 1.) WOW this place is insane, I wanna move in! and 2.) this is gonna cost me a lot. Dr. Brad came in shortly there after and was the coolest Dr. ever, not only was he very kind and very patient with me, he explained everything to me. I knew I was in very good hands, especially on how I fear going to the denist. And to top it off I thought it couldnt any better but it did... I couldnt believe how great their prices are, if I had insurance Id go every day. "no joke" Not to sound corn-ballish, Dr. Brad is an awesome Dr., I felt really comfortable and safe with him... He will definitely be my new Dentist!

I had been in horrible pain for months, trying to find a dentist to pull my wisdom teeth. They were infected and needed out ASAP. The pain was unbearable. After calling dozens of offices it seemed no one had an opening and I had almost given up trying. My last and final attempt was the Dental Center at Easton. From the very first phone call they were compassionate and professional (I told the woman who answered my call, Nicole, that she sounded like an angel compared to the other rude receptionists I had been talking to all day at other clinics). She was able to get me in right away and I had the most relaxing, pain-free dental experience of my life. Thats saying a lot for getting my first 2 teeth pulled, ever! Let alone infected, wisdom teeth. The office was in a great location and easy to find with plenty of parking. It was clean and well maintained. Now on to the best part: the dentist! Im telling you she was nothing short of amazing. I instantly felt comfortable and was cared for every step of the way by her. She made me laugh and made sure my comfort level was always maintained. She explained everything and was patient and kind. I am now 24 hours post wisdom teeth removal and my pain is so minimal that I havent even had to take ibuprofen! Finding this office has been such a blessing that I will be sure to be back for all my other dental needs! My insurance isnt accepted here but the fact that Im willing to pay out of pocket should say a lot. I think Ive finally found a great dentist in Columbus! Woohoo!
