Approximately 7 years ago I became disenchanted with a vet I had gone to for over 20 years. On a Saturday morning I discovered one of my Persians, Magic, had a extremely loose canine tooth, called Animal Advocates and they got me in that morning. They were wonderful have been going to them every since. In addition to the care they have given to my cats, the first time I went in I was laid off, they allowed me to pay in 2 payments, and much more reasonable then my former vet. Since that initial visit unfortunately 2 of my babies, Magic and Murphy, have gone to Rainbows Bridge, the compassion and understanding of what I was going through was incredible. I recommend them highly, wouldnt think of going anywhere else. Doctors and whole staff are great.

They are the BEST! We love taking our Annie to Animal Advocates! She has mainly seen Dr. Overla who has been nothing but kind and compassionate when helping with her issues with DM. Annie did have to see one of the other Vets recently and we got the same exceptional care from her as well. The facility is always very clean, they are never pushy for certain treatments or medications, but try to give you all your options and support whatever decision you decide to go with. The staff is always super friendly and caring for her as well. Prices are super reasonable too! I HIGHLY suggest taking your pets to them!!!

After receiving wonderful, but exorbitantly expensive care at a cat-only practice, finding this practice was a breath of fresh air! I brought my 16 year-old Calico cat to see Dr. Colleen Overla and my experience was top-notch. She was patient, understanding, and listened carefully to my concerns. The facility was clean, bright, and happy; the staff was wonderfully accommodating to my very fearful kitty. I was ecstatic (no exaggeration) when I received my bill and Dr. Overla even arranged my cats daily prescription to be filled at a better value. Excellent balance of care and cost!

Vets and Staff, I want to personally thank you for your services and compassion when we needed you the most. We had an appointment the day before but Gods calling doesnt wait. My wife and I felt completely at ease after we had to put down our best friend of 12.5 year. You allowed us to hold him and comfort him while he was passing and made it comfortable for all of us. I was introduced to this vet hospital when my silly little golden ate something naughty and required surgery. They quickly took care of the issue and were very reasonably priced for top quality care. Dr. Overla and her staff were wonderful to both my dog and I. Consequently, I have switched to this vet office and have recommended AAVH to friends.

Doctors are great with the animals! Quickly able to calm our cat and compassionate with all our animals (3 cats and 2 dogs). Very clean facility, better than most people hospitals! Nice large waiting room. Prices are comparable (with in 10%) to other animal clinics. Would not hesitate to bring you pet here!

Dr. Overla was very compassionate when I had a cat put down while she was with Oakland Animal Hospital. When AAVH opened I switched because of Dr. Overla. My animals have had excellent care from both Dr. Overla and Dr. Bellasario. I would recommend AAVH to anyone who is looking for a Vet.

I have an injured puppy and needs X-rays or something to be checked out. We are not sure what she did, but shes limping & cant lay down or get comfortable. Im worried but was told they cant get her in until tomorrow. I feel any animal advocate would see a puppy in pain!
