my first two visits were okay but my third visit was absolutely terrible. I rescued a kitten a little over a month ago and she was diagnosed with an ulcer in her eye. she has been on a strict regimen of drops for the past month and still no improvement. Today was her third check up at this office and it was highly impersonable and I left feeling more uncertain about my fur childs condition than when she was first diagnosed. The doctor did not answer any of my questions directly and actually walked out of the room while I was still talking. They gave me medicine that was incorrectly labeled for a dog named Thor and I did not notice until after I had already gotten home and gave her the first drop. I called in a panic and the assistant assured me if was for her but even with the reassurance that is NOT OKAY. The assistants didnt even try to schedule a follow up visit to make sure the new drops were working which made me feel as if they did not care about her at all. While in the room, the doctor mentioned a surgery and told me it would cost me $450 but did not go into details about it or offer me any services to help pay for this. I am a young college student. I asked about a payment plan and they just said they did not do this. I realized I could get a care card for this sort of situation but they did not suggest it what so ever and left me feeling hopeless in helping my little one. I had read many great reviews about this place and was excited to find a doctor that would treat my fur child with love and compassion, instead I walked out in tears and highly frustrated. They also kept calling my kitten by different names and referred to her as a male which made me question what sex she was. I made an appointment with a new vet to get a second opinion on treatment and hopefully receive direct answers for all my worries and concerns, not a doctor just quickly walking out of the room.

Me and my mother went there today, we found a chihuahua a few weeks ago and we couldnt keep the dog because she was not getting along with our cats. We found her a home with my step brother. Two weeks went by and their pit pull attacked the chihuahua and had multiple wounds so we took her to Dix Animal Hospital. They cared for the dog very well gave her an antibiotic shot (Im pretty sure) and they cleaned her wounds, and of course my Mother was going to pay the bill. They couldnt find the exact owner of the dog but she was microchipped to a Rescue shelter. My mother was upset and didnt want to necessarily give the dog up not knowing exactly where she was going. But since she was microchipped we had to give her up to where she was microchipped. My Mother didnt want to drive 25-30 mins to where she was microchipped so the woman that worked there offered to take the chihuahua when she got off of work! The staff was very friendly and nice! My mother was crying and was very upset, she went to pay for the services that were done, the Doctor told her everything is on him! What a nice gesture. There are actually nice people out there still! Thank you everyone at Dix Animal Hospital for your understanding and your help! I will definitely recommend this place!

The best vet around town!!!! The staff and doctor are very caring. They dont do there job just for the money they recieve in there pockets at the end of the week. They truly care for there clients/pets that walk in this office. No matter what the circumstances are...they are always their to help..they are not judging people. The doctor will help out the best way that he can. If you cant afford it theres an option called care credit. I deffiently recommend this option BUT not everyone gets approved for this plan But dont loose hope! There may be other options out there. The doctor will help out the best way that he can if possible...everyone looses hope until they step into Dix Animal Hospital your hope just comes back. Point is....Dr.Chadha is just a great VET All in All and so are the vet techs. They work well with you. Sorry for my long speech. I was just trying to let people know that hes great and #1 and that you should come to Dix Animal Hospital. You never have a long wait time and if there was a wait it would never be longer then 20mins tops. But thats never!!

I have been taking my babies to Dr Chada for a long time now. My boyfriend years ago took his cat to another vet and they wanted to "put him down" said there was nothing they could do for him. He called me, i said NO, we are taking him to Dr Chada. Well, just a simple IV with fluids 2 times a week kept Midnight alive for another 2 years. He was in good health with the fluids, he just could not drink enough to keep up with what he needed. After Midnight passed we got Tux, Tux had a emergency had a high fever and i could tell, he was not going to survive. Dr Chada saved his life. Dr Chada is a angel to our babies. I have NEVER seen a more loving and compassionate man to ALL the babies who come in. He truly cares about them. Also, Dr Morton was very sweet and gave Tux lots of kisses when Dr Chada was not there. The staff was more than wonderful with our week long time of stress. If you want a Vet who truly cares about the life of your baby, it is Dr Chada!

I am not sure 5 stars is enough for the Dix animal hospital. Dr Chadha ,Lou,candy, sue all are great. I have two dogs and have been going here for about 4 years. I recently had an issue where my giant breed dog(100 lbs plus), he needed a major surgery at the last minute. Some clinics would send you to one of the emergency vet clinics. Dr Chadha fully accommodated me and the surgery was a complete success. Another thing that I like, is that they dont suggest tests unless your pet really needs them. I know because I have insurance and on a number of occasions I have debated getting tests and was given the option to consider both symptomatic treatment versus all the test. I have tons of respect for their dedication towards profession.

I have been a client of Dix animal hospital for almost a decade. The vets and staff at DAH have been with me through the ups and downs of being a pet mom. They have helped me say goodbye to my loved ones and help me welcome new kids to the family.. There have been staff changes at the clinic but I am always made to feel just as welcomed and included in my pets care. Dr Chada is not just caring and knowledgeable veterinarian but extraordinary person. He put his patients care first but do not forget the pet parents needs either. And finally it is always good to know that if God forbid your pet need a major surgery most of the times he can do in the clinic at very reasonable price rather than sending you to a specialist.
