Megofishing

Son went in for back and wrist injuries. Called about bill and was told it would be on hold for 30 days to wait for insurance-during this time we received a bill from a collection agency for $53. Thanks for trying to ruin our credit Allina--we are NEVER going back! btw, a friend of ours went in and was totally misdiagnosed for a bladder infection (had to find that out at another clinic). AND, a neighbor went in with a sinus infection TWICE and they refused them medication (the person is not a regular antibiotic user) so they have suffered for 3 weeks-and of course, Allina still billed them for their visits.

A Private User

Ive gone to the Hastings Allina Clinic for many years, with the same general practitioner. Hes fine for curing warts (maybe not, I never was treated for that), but when things get tough, he just dishes out whatever the pharmaceutical industry pushes. He couldnt diagnose my problem, instead telling me to go see a shrink. It turned out to be treatable with natural medicinals. Then, when I went to see a specialist, the nurses and doctor treated me like a child or worse, and tried to take control of my treatment choices. Im looking for a more enlightened clinic.

I love this clinic. My primary doctor and my gyn are both amazing, very attentive to my and my familys needs, and actually listen to me and seem to care about my family and me. I hardly ever have to wait very long, the doctors actually spend time with me and never seem to be in a rush and the front desk staff is always pleasant and friendly. Im very satisfied with my care here. My only (minor) complaint is that sometimes the wait time on the phone can be a bit long. But it is a very minor complaint.

I have lived in the area on & off since 03, most of the doctors are Very through in your care & have you help participate in your course of treatment, instead of just making the decisions for you. Labor & Delivery is also a Great Dept. they take excellent care or the moms & babies. (Gbabies) Anything MAJOR they will refer you out to United or another Allina Facilitated Hospital which I also have been Very pleased with. You just have to find a Doctor that is the Right Fit for You!

Dr. Markert is strong and too the point physician, but she listens and addresses the problem and highly recommends follow up. I would recommend her. Thank you Dr. Markert for allowing me to live my life without the worries Ive had. You stood out from the rest of the docs Ive seen, and your recommendation sounded silly, but worked! Couldnt be happier.
