Told to come in at 12:15 for my 1:00 Appt. Theres a sign posted saying their admin takes lunch until 1 every day. Sit there for 45 minutes, end up behind on paperwork and the nurse session by the time frumpy psych starts session. Psych hadnt even bothered to glance at file ahead of time. Asked repeat questions and then got mad at me for pointing out shes repeating herself, not listening and could have at least known some of this ahead of time if she spent 5 minutes reading. (Your only getting paid $400 an hour. I dont think 5 minutes of homework is too much to ask.) Psych eventually refuses to treat me, because I keep calling her out on dumb questions that are pointless and midwesterns cant handle people that direct at all. Worst run clinic Ive been to in 20+ years of dealing with this industry and also the worst psychiatrist Ive ever met in my entire life. (Ive seen over 20 in 20 years.) Looking at the review below me. I also had Michaud. Guess shes worthless for everyone.

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had. The receptionist was unbelievably rude when I arrived as she made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for me to fill out paperwork as a new client. Then I go in to Jocelyn Vincent and could not wait for my hour to be over. The first thing she tells me,even before I sit down, is to turn my phone off- not on silent. I can appreciate this rule but the we she spoke me, was as if I was a child. She showed no compassion and would ask the same question over and over. Eventually I think she realized I would never be coming back and started talking about herself trying to relate her life to mine. I was uncomfortable the entire time and she never seemed to notice.

If you are going to BHSI in Woodbury and you get Lavonne Michaud, MD as a Psychiatrist i would highly suggest picking a different location or psychiatrist to see. My experience was the worst i have ever had seeing a psychiatrist. Lavonne Michaud, MD was rolling her eyes at me and had an attitude in her voice the whole time i was in the appointment. I thankfully received my copay back because of how unprofessional she was. when going into a Psychiatrist i expect to be treated with respect since i am suffering from a mental illness things like rolling your eyes or attitude in someones voice can completely cause an attack.

Thought Id try this place for a second opinion. Dr. Michaud was completely disinterested in my case and didnt seem to have a clue as to what kind of a tailspin the death of my spouse sent me in. She gave me ten minutes of her time, and a prescription which she wouldnt refill again; boy, thats some treatment! You can see this place gets 1 star by everybody--avoid!!!

What a waste of time. I had a horrible experience with psychiatrist Dr. Michaud. Rolled her eyes the whole time. I almost walked out. She recommended i set up an appointment with a psychologist. I did want to see one but not there, she turned me off to that place.

The receptionist made me feel unwelcome. The therapist I spoke with had zero compassion. There is something off about the place.
