Many years ago, I had a tooth that was driving me crazy and I decided that rather than spending hundreds of dollars to fix it, I would just get it pulled because it was way in the back. I started calling around to dentists in my area, asking if they would just pull the tooth. I was turned down by several places, flat out telling me that they would not do that. No offer to have me come in and have them take a look....nothing. Then I called Northland Dental. They told me what I wanted to hear and the appointment was made. When I arrived, it was clear that the last thing they were going to do was to just pull the tooth. Im sure Dr. Tom thought I was nuts. I explained what the problem was and he took a look and ended up filing down one of the edges of the tooth and my pain was GONE! He didnt even charge me for that visit and I have been a patient ever since, along with my two sons! Dr. Tom is awesome and takes the time to explain what is going on at each visit. There have been many times that he has used the "wait and watch" approach instead of just suggesting a treatment that may not be necessary. The office staff are very friendly here and I have had the same dental hygienist for years and she is wonderful! The waiting area is spacious and very comfortable! If you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend you give Northland Dental a call!

When I first came to Dr. Atchison I was a young mom in the first year of my career whose dental care had been a low priority. I was not looking forward to establishing care and was concerned about judgements I might receive about the amount of dental work I had put off. I had an excellent first experience, and Dr. Atchison involved me in building a long term treatment plan that has evolved throughout the years. I have since established care for the rest of my family! Since the first time I walked in Dr. Atchison has been able to meet my family where we are at and find the balance between our financial means, and dental needs. Staff at Northland dental have worked to maximize our insurance benefits and helped us to make educated decisions about our dental care. Beyond their professional excellence, I have always experienced a warm greeting, punctual appointments and friendly, personable staff who create a welcoming environment. My son, who was first seen at age three would also give Dr. Atchison and his staff 5 stars; he thoroughly enjoys the child play area, as well as the kid-approved dental hygiene products and-most of all-the prizes!

I have had the opportunity to travel extensively and always hope to find a competent Dentist and staff where ever I happen to be. Even after extensive research and references from coworkers, I am often disappointed. I have been in Fargo now for over 15years and consider myself fortunate to have found Dr Anderson at Northland Dental. The staff at Northland is highly competent and offers a full range of services. A patient is never without assistance during off-hours as staff is always on-call. The entire office is friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I used to be so anxious and scared to go to the dentist. I grew up having a lot of dental work and hated going to the dentist. As an adult, I avoided going,,,well we know that is not a good plan. So, I bit the bullet and went to Dr. Tom. I knew from the first visit all would be well. For the last 20 years, i have not been scared, anxious or upset to go to the dentist. He even came into the office on a day off to take care an emergency issue for me. I have had my teeth cleaned twice a year from Janet and love our chats. The experience is wonderful and I actually look forward to them. Believe me,,,I never thought i would say that about going to the dentist!

Northland Dental is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. Dr. Tom and his staff are so welcoming and friendly. I grew up with a Dentist who didnt believe in using Novocain and therefore I hated going to the dentist -- needing to find a dentist who was good with kids and also adults who didnt have a great experience at the dentist as a child I asked my friends -- Northland Dental and Dr. Tom Andersons name came up several times! I am so happy that my family found Northland Dental, Dr. Tom, Janet and the rest of the staff! They make going to the dentist not quite as worrisome!

I love going to Northland Dental. The friendly warm welcome and the professionalism is only the beginning of the awesome experience you will get when becoming a regular patient. One thing that stands out in my mind is how Dr Andrew Atchison went way beyond what would have been expected to help my daughter with a root canal. His act of kindness and skill to help her will never be forgotten. I will always refer people to Northland Dental. I want to say Thank You for all you and your staff do for me and my family. In my humble opinion, Northland Dental is the best dental service in the entire Fargo-Moorhead area. They treated me as a priority and quickly took care of my problems in a way that was affordable for me. They are very honest and explain all of your options. The office atmosphere is comforting, and the staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They actually make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. I completely trust them and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best, affordable dental care.

Our family appreciates the friendly, relaxed atmosphere at Northland Dental! Its nice to walk in for an appointment or call on the phone and feel like the staff remembers you and doesnt make you feel like youre just someone else coming in for dental work. Everyone is easy to talk to and laugh with and that always adds to a pleasant experience. We feel like Dr. Tom and his staff care about us and always tries to accommodate our schedules so we can get in for our appointments. We wouldnt think of going anywhere else. Thank you!

My dental hygienist was incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a younger dentist that was also great, he took time to explain to me what was happening. They are also very good about telling you what your charges will be, some dental offices are not quite as transparent; leaving you with an unwelcome surprise in the mail a few weeks later. I was referred from Edeen Dentistry as they did not take Delta Dental. Thanks for the goof referral!
