Im giving this office 2stars for one particular person. Our first visit to this office was today 8/26/17. I will start by saying the entire back staff, including the dentist was AMAZING!! They were so kind & generous and really made me & my husband feel like we made the right choice, as this was our first visit to this office. Everything so was organized in the back & very clean as well. There is one person upfront who stated she was the Treatment Coordinator/office manager was very rude & unprofessional. I merely asked what the total would be for our services and she went over the pricing but I realized it showed we had a 12 mo. waiting period but we had our dental insurance going on almost 2 years so I knew that information was incorrect. Coming from my side being a practice manager of a medical office, I know that sometimes insurance verified online is not correct & you need to CALL to confirm benefits, which was not done in this case. I then asked about different pricing & if we paid cash after our benefit maximum was met was there any type of payment plan or cash pay plan. She then began to he rude & talk down to me and my husband in front of other employees and patients. Then we were giving some fluoride toothpaste that Dr. K instructed us to use & put it our new patient goody bags. The treatment coordinator/office manager began to talk loudly to my husband & I claiming it was $10 for each. I then merely explained no one in the back told us that & she grabbed the flourife toothpaste as if we were trying to steal it. Let me make myself clear that $10 or $20 is not a big deal for us but the way we were treated over it was ridiculous. Then because I stated we werent told about the $10 she had the nerve to bring two dental assistants upfront to confront them about it in front of me and my husband. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. You never scold your staff in front of a patient. I had to turn to one of them & apologize myself to let her know its not her fault!! How embarrassing for that employee. As we were leaving I asked for a medical release form in case we wanted to get a second opinion else where so once I received that grabbed my purse & we proceeded to leave. The treatment coordinator/office manager then stated as Im walking out the door "YOUR WELCOME" very loudly. Coming from a place of where respect & professionalism is our number goal, I simply opened the door to leave and did not say a word, when in reality I wanted to turn around and give her a real piece of my mind! I waited about 30 minutes after leaving and called to clarify who all took care of us so we could let Dr. reed know we were pleased with them but not his front office treatment coordinator and at that point I expressed my concerns to her and she interrupted me over and over and would not listen to my concerns or even apologize for me feeling any type of way. This goes to show that ONE person can ruin a patients entire experience. It doesnt matter how great the dentist or back staff are if you gave a very unprofessional, rude & sarcastic front desk team. With that said I do not know if we will continue business with this office if something is not fixed with the front desk "treatment coordinator/office manager". We really were trying to find a FAMILY DENTIST so not only could we attend his office but so could our children! Really disappointed.

Im always scared of going to the dentist. I get super nervous, and I try to hold it off for as long as I can. This time though, Ive been trying to get dental work and I needed a good dentist office that would make me feel comfortable because Im a pretty stubborn patient. Ive seen their office a few times, and decided one day to google them and their reviews, and how they pride themselves in their work. I can tell you that it is one of the best decisions Ive made when it comes to dentists. Ive been to dentists who always want to make a quick buck, and dont care about the specifics of the process. I know because I do my research on EVERYTHING, and when I hear something from the dentists that is wrong in some way about what they will do to my teeth, I stay away from the office. I found them, and they made my experience so comfortable and so enjoyable! They treat you like you matter. Theyre decent and professional. I went in there a little bit scared, but they made me feel less scared as they kept talking to me. Everything went smooth and I believe this is the office Ill keep choosing.

My visit began pleasant and ended horribly. I was comforted by the dentist plan of treatment for a root canal. The financial coordinator came off as very disgruntled when asked questions about the billed amount and allowable amount by insurance companies. She was very short and unknowledgeable of the billing process. For that reason I denied to have any further services provided at this facility. Charging thousands over the allowable for a patient to pay more out of pocket is unethical and inequitable. When advising the coordinator (who I later found out was the wife of the dentist) the reasoning why I refused service she began to behave with such ill manner and was unapologetic. I.e. when I asked if my husband took my purse with him she yelled, "I would not touch your purse." Where her mind was......I have no idea. She seemed so disgusted that I was at theyre practice. If you dont want "certain patients" you should advise at the time of registration. In conclusion, the dentist wife refused to give her name and allow access to speak with the dentist.

I came to Dr. Reeds office for a check up and a braces consultation. I have been to many dentist offices in my past, so I knew exactly what I wanted and the environment that I wanted to be in. At first arrival, the front desk staff was very sweet and made me feel right at home. Dr. Reed explained all of my options to me and the pros and cons behind every option. He made everything simple and easy for me to understand. All of my treatment was done that week and the in-house financing was simple and they were willing to work with my financial situation. Dr. Reed put on my braces and I couldnt be happier. Whenever I have a problem or concern with my braces, they are always friendly and open to have me come in to fix my concern, although I cause most of the problems I have. I would highly recommend Dr. Reed to my family and friends and to anyone that is looking for a dentist office that will work with you and explain all of your options instead of just increasing their profits.

I am thankful to Dr.Reed and his staff for trying to give me an experience that is pleasant as much as possible. I was nervous about getting braces at first, but I no longer have such hesitation because I know that I’m in good hands. Everyone there tries hard to make my experience as painless as possible, although I do feel a bit uneasy when it comes to grinding my teeth. There’s just something about that blade! However, I trust Dr.Reed for his experience in dentistry, and I appreciate how warm and welcoming the rest of the staff are. They are all very friendly, which makes me feel a lot more comfortable about going to the dentist. Sometimes, it takes some time waiting for Dr. Reed, but that’s understandable since he has to juggle between many other patients; usually, the wait time isn’t long though. Overall, my experience at Arlington Dental has been wonderful, and I thank the staff for making it that way.
