If I could give negative stars I would. This is my first time EVER writing a Google review, but I feel that I would take some time out of my day so hopefully nobody else experiences what I went through with Brident. I had not been to the dentist in about a year so I decided to try Brident. I can easily say this was the WORST dentist experience I have ever had my entire life. I went in for a check up, so to get things started off the wait to bring me in was about 30 minutes. I understand that they might have many patients inside, but I still thought that was a little long because I was the only person in the waiting room. So once I finally get in, the first thing they did was check my blood pressure. After that they took X-Rays to see how my teeth looked. I dont know if it was the ladys first time doing X-rays, she was pretty nice. But it took her a good 20-25 tries to get about 8-10 X-rays they needed. So after finally getting done with her, they had me wait until the DR. came to tell me what they found. I waited over 20 minutes and the reason I know it was over 20 minutes was because their computer system had a timer on it. So when the Dr. finally came back to see me she checked my teeth and then came back after like 5 minutes. So when she comes back she reveals to me that I have 5 Cavities, Gingivitis, and that I had a condition in which my gums bleed. I found this shocking considering I take good care of my teeth and brush 2-3 times a day! So I asked for an estimate and how I went about getting it taken care of and they come back telling me that it would be over $1,500.00 I had purchased their individual plan that gets you 2 check ups annually covered in it and a 20% discount on any treatment you decide to do with them. So I said why not it came out to about $100.00 for the plan, so with the discount to the plan it would have been around $1,000.00 to get my "cavities" filled in. Like I said I take pretty good care of my teeth so I really found it shocking when I heard I had 5 cavities. So since I was kind of curious I decided to get a second opinion on what I had going on and went elsewhere. My goodness was that one of the best decisions I had ever made! The second place that I went to told me that I only had ONE cavity not FIVE, and they also said I did NOT have Gingivitis, or any gum conditions that would cause bleeding! I decided to get in taken care of right away they only charged me $200.00 for the filling in the cavity, cleaning, and the check-up of course! I was a very pleased customer and will always return to them instead of Brident. In conclusion I feel very disgusted that Brident would lie about the amount of cavities I had, not only that, they also lied about the Gingivitis and a gum condition that was NEVER there! I Recommend that NOBODY EVER GOES TO BRIDENT! Unless they want to become a victim of lying and being ripped off!

Where do I start with this place? First, I went in as a new patient. After I checked in, they informed me about their credit card options to help offset the cost. I told them I am not interested. I sat at the chair the dentist comes in and she begins to do the exam. Then their patient consultant begins typing on the computer about all the work I need. The dentist didnt really go over anything with me as far as what should come first. She just did the exam and walked away. She told me the patient payment consultant would help me. First, a great dentist should go over what needs to be done with the patient. This should not be about cost, but it should be about health. It was very clear to me that they were after money. After the dentist left (by the way they dont have rooms they have open chairs, and anyone can hear your information), she quotes me a price of $8000. I was in shock! Then, tells me once again that I can go ahead and get the credit card. I was offered thar credit card four times in one visit. The patient consultant told me that my insurance doesnt really cover much. I left, and they gave me the paperwork. So, I called my insurance company and they asked me to read the quote my company didnt even recognize the numbers. They asked me to read the description of the service, and guess what? It did not match the price quote that I was given at Brident. They are after your money and they could care less about you as a patient! Run! Do not receive any dental care from this place. I would also like to add that their staff is extremely unprofessional, and they discuss things that should not be discussed in front of a patient. For example, making your food order while you have a scope in my mouth!!!! RUN RUN RUN! I called Brident to get my X-rays so they can send them to my dentist and guess what? They never sent them. This is after my initial visit. They clearly put their own financial interest ahead of their patients health.

I called the 1-800 # to book an emergency appt at the Duncanville location. The rep stated they were booked but the next location with an open spot was the Arlington one at Collins. I booked it because it was three hours until the appt. I drive about 30 minutes to get there and the receptionist tells me they could not see me because nobody called to verify my insurance and it takes a day. It does not take a day to verify coverage and they had three hours to do it. They didnt even bother to call to let me know before having me drive out there and why book a same day appointment if you know you are not going to treat the emergency. She then said I came come back the next day. So 30 minutes out there for nothing, then 30 minutes back. Then 30 minutes back out there the next day as if gas grows on trees and if thats the case I would just go to the one in Duncanville. I would not go to any of the locations cause if they are sloppy with spots and insurance just think about the actual dental work.

Very disappointed in Brident and their policies. I have been a patient of theirs for the last 3 years, but today they failed to care for their patient well due to refusing to preform a standard exam and cleaning without taking x-rays. Apparently their dentists were not trained to due a visual/probe exam and instead rely 100% on x-rays. As a pregnant woman who has good hygiene, there is no reason for me to place my unborn child at unnecessary risk when any competent dentist is capable of doing a manual exam. I have been to a few different dentists when pregnant with my other children in the past and was never turned away because I shouldnt have x-rays done. I even worked for a few dentists as a dental assistant and never was a pregnant patient turned away for basic preventative care due to not being able to have x-rays. If it was for a root canal I would understand, but a cleaning and exam? Pathetic policy Brident. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
