I went to Next Century Dental originally because it was close and Id received one of their mailer advertisements. I went in thinking Id need a couple of fillings. This was on New Years Eve at 1pm. Dr. Kim showed me on the X-rays that because of the depth and extensive decay on the two teeth in question, they couldnt be filled and would need root canals and crowns. He explained all of my options to me in a thoroughly understandable manner without being condescending, with compassion and consideration for my finances as Im a retiree on a pension. I opted for the root canals and temporary crowns and a few minutes before 2pm he started the work after I met with Kristen the office manager to set up a payment plan that would work within my budget. Keep in mind this is New Years Eve and theyd planned to close the office at 3. Dr. Kim is the sneakiest dentist Ive ever been to in my almost 60 yrs. and I mean that in a good way! He slipped the needle several places into my upper gums and I never felt it! It was the first time Id ever experienced a dentist who anesthetized me without first applying the topical numbing agent. Usually I would always experience a certain amount of pain because I have a low pain threshold when it comes to oral pain. His chairside manner is incredible. He had me laughing (which is difficult when your mouth is propped open and a dentist has his fingers in and out of your mouth) several times along with Laura, his assistant who did a great job keeping up with Dr. Kim and me from choking on my own saliva when I was laughing. Everything was done on that trip shortly before 3:30 and no one there exhibited the least amount of grumbling nor did I detect a single bit of irritation from them at being kept past closing time to accommodate one procrastinating patient. Ive since been back for three other fillings and have to return for additional extensive work. (Before anyone gets the idea Im some ignorant hillbilly who is clueless about personal dental hygiene, I have an autoimmune disease that between it and the medications Ive had to take over the last twenty-five years, in spite of brushing, flossing, and fluoride based mouthwashes multiple times a day, my teeth have been seriously damaged.) I will continue to use Next Century Dental and Dr. Kim exclusively. Ive already referred one friend to him and would recommend Dr.Kim to anyone who is seeking a pleasant dental experience.

Finally a Dental office that knows what they are doing! For the past month I was given the run around by HEB dental in Euless their staff making me fake appointments. A friend told me about Next Century Dental and I made my appointment over the phone very kind lady who made my appointment. From the moment I walk in it felt cozy and it did not smell like a dentist office which is a plus for me right away I was helped by a nice gentleman who gave me my paperwork to start once I turned them in it was not even 10 min before I got called in. The young lady who took my x-rays was very kind. One thing that always made me nervous about going to the Dentist was doctors who just have those looks like they do not know what the hell to do.... but definitely not Dr. Kim right off the bat strong voice and very comfortable and confident in him self straight forward to you too. I felt I was in good hands. From the lady who put in order a list of the most important things I needed done for my teeth with prices was just freaking awesome. Five tooth extractions being in my budget was unbelievable. Finding this place was a early x-mas present for me it truly was. What once was a fear of the dentist this place and their staff is making that go away. With just the way they looked at me and the way everyone talked to me made me feel welcomed. Thank you all for a absolutely great experience and for FANTASTIC SERVICE IN PERSON AND ON THE PHONE!!! Would I recommend this place? In a heart beat!!!

My kids go here and their dentist is great. I went yesterday for the first time to get my regular 6 month checkup. ( I wanted to try them out) The check up went fine and cleaning untill...the dentist arrived. "Dr. Bonola" I was sitting in my chair waiting and he was speaking to another patient in very matter of fact gruff tones about trying to help the pain she would feel "Ill do the best I can" I started to get uncomfortable so I stood up. He can into the room and did not even introduce himself. He told me to sit down and open up. He poked around said I needed this and that, Minor stuff. He was obrasive, rude and made me downright uncomfortable. What kind of dentist comes into a new paitent and doesnt introduce himself or anything? I felt that he was rude and uncaring at best. I will not return. (I have insurance so it was not a payment issue, check ups are free) I do not suggest you go to this office for adult care. A dentist should be matter of fact about your issues so its clear, but they also should make you feel comfortable and welcome and above all introduce themselves.

I originally went to Next Century Dental in to get a cap replaced and was told I needed a great deal additional dental work prior to replacing the cap. Three years and a few thousand dollars later some of the fillings that had been done a year before had come out leaving me with a pretty embarrassing smile. I made an appointment to get those filings replaced but instead was told that I needed to complete some additional bridgework but no consideration was given to replacing the lost filings. A bill was later sent to my provider for the consultation ! ( which amounted to little more than a sales pitch for more extensive work) Oh, and that original cap that I had sought so many years before? it remained an empty post until I opted to go to another dentist to get it replaced.

By far the best dental office I have ever been to. EVERYONE made me feel safe and comfortable about the dental options I had to choose. Im not the best patient to deal with because of my horrible pain tolerance, Im sure Dr Kim can testify to that :),but his staff made me feel so at ease about everything! Walking out of the office, after my first appointment, I felt hope for the first time, in a long time, that I was in good hands. Dr Kim never made me feel less than or inadequate because of my finincial stand point. He made me feel comfortable and confident in our treatment plan. I could live 3 hours away and I would still make the drive to see Dr Kim and his amazing team!

Today was my first experience for an actual procedure other than a cleaning. Dr. Kim had a full plate for me today, and as with most people, I was worried about pain. Prior to the start of our day, I told the "Doc" in a humorous way that I would be rating his numbing skills and work. He smiled with confidence and replied "Nothing but compliments so far"! Well, his flawless track record continues! Dr. Kim was fantastic, and you can tell he performs his craft not only as a Dentist, but as an artist. Koodos to him and his team and I leave feeling good about our next visit!
