This place is ABSURDLY expensive and HIDES fees - watch your wallets, folks! We took our 2 yr old in for a cleaning, and everything went very well - or so we thought. He had a flouride treatment and they brushed his teeth (the same way we do every night, just with a toothbrush). At the checkout, they gave us a very non-descriptive receipt with a price of $58 listed (and no information of what was charged), which sounded about right for what they did for him. We have a dental discount plan and they told us this was the discounted rate. About a month later, we got a bill for another $90. To make a long story short, they charged us nearly $300 before the discount plan for this incredibly simple visit (no x-rays, no work on the teeth, no inspection -- just flouride and brushing....). To give you an idea of the difference, another local dentist that I go to regularly does a cleaning, inspection, flouride treatment, and x-rays for $69 without a discount plan, and they are just as professional and great with the kids. Shop around and DONT GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR MONEY!!! At the very least, make them itemize everything and explain what you are paying for.

I wanted a holistic dentist. There are none on my insurance. My oldest has gone to iKids in the past and had been begging to go back. Yes, my kids beg to go to THIS dentist. I was prepared to have to defend my natural/alternative decisions. Instead, I was met with total respect for me being the decision maker for my children. They answered question after question, explained why they do things the way the do, without pressuring me to do things their way. Because of their approach I was able to make better educated decisions and become a better caregiver for my kids teeth. I really feel like they just want to help. UPDATE: Last night I had to use the 24 hour emergency hotline. I was met with the same exceptional customer service. My kid was in pain. I was tense and feeling helpless. In a few short minutes, I knew what I needed to do to make it better in the moment, I had an appt to get a temporary fix in the morning. Here now and they were able to come up with a solution to avoid a temporary fix and get the full problem taken care of immediately. Person after person, visit after visit, I am met with exceptional care.

My child is a "difficult" child. He has special needs. I was very concerned with this being his first visit. I neednt have been. The people at iKids are professional, kind, patient, and gentle. They handled him like he was a star, which he loved! They were able to get him to happily cooperate. Happily being the operative word. I would recommend iKids Pediatric Dentistry to anyone with children. They live up to all the research I did and more.

Staff explained each tool and its purpose within 7yo range of understanding the procedure to be performed by Dentist... Dentist helped 7yo to remain calm while conversing in conversation with some laughs while explaining procedural steps as they were performed in 7yo mouth... Rest of staff very knowledgeable with procedural methods and helpful in setting future consultations and appointments that best meet our schedules and their availability

I love this place its kids friendly the dentist was so nice he used kids terms to explain my Son what he was going to be doing to him. The dental assistant she was so nice she answer all my questions and was very professional . I really recommend you to take your children here. The fact that you can go in with your child during his visits was the thing I really liked. I will keep taking my children here.

My daughter enjoys the atmosphere of this place in general. All of the staff are caring and kind. I love the way that this office is made for children to feel happy from the moment that they walk in. We have never had any issues in any way since going here. I have been taking my daughter here since 2012 and she was 1 1/2, and she is now 4.I would recommend this Dentist Office to anyone with a child!

Great service! All smiles from the time we walked in. My little one was nervous because of a loose tooth but Ms. Heather and Ms. Juliana talked her through it all. Right next to her was her big Sis being looked after by Ms. Beverly and Ms. Liz. Dr. Hamilton and his staff definitely know you meaning of comfort and service. Thanks a whole bunch.

Great place! Office people very nice. Orthodontist are very good & pleasant. We have medicaid, & we are still treated very well. Went to a place in Cedar Hill by Walmart, it was just pitiful. They didnt have their act together at all. I would HIGHLY recommend iKids Pediatric Dentistry. I think you will be very pleased with them.

Today my 5 year old daughter had her very first dentist appointment at iKids. I dont think I could of taken her anywhere else that treated us so well. The staff was very helpful, listened and answered all of my questions with a smile. I enjoyed that they explained everything to my daughter just before it happened.

Im a dental assistant myself (not at ikids) and I wouldnt take my daughter anywhere else. We had an awful experience at jefferson dental and Ill never go back! Im so glad I looked around for a second opinion and ended up at iKids. So happy with the staff, Doctors and the work that was done.

Friendly staff, kid-friendly environment. They are patient and easy-going with little ones, and know exactly how to handle scared youngsters; the kiddos get a little prize when theyre through. The doctors and hygienists are thorough and explain everything to the kids and parents.

Weve had three appointments for our daughter, and every time we have to wait at least 45 minutes in the waiting room past our appointment time. I can understand things happen, but thats a trend. The hygienists and dentists are great, but Id rather not have to wait so long.

The kids absolutely love the atmosphere ..the nurses and the Dr. Everyone is Very friendly and informative . They have a variety of things to do while kiddos wait , which eases the anxiety of the dental/ orthodontist experience overall! :) A+++ from this mom!

I love this clinic!! My daughter who use to hate going to the dentist now says she loves going! We have seen 2 different dentist at this location and both are amazing! Dr Jones took out a baby tooth and my daughter didnt even realize it!! Keep up the good work!!

DEALING WITH PEDIATRIC DENTISTS WITH 4 KIDS AND FOR 12 YEARS ID HAVE TO SAY I MET THE PERFECT OFFICE STAFF, DENTAL ASSISTANTS, DENTIST AND EVEN ORTHODONTISTS. THEY ARE ALWAYS SO NICE , POLITE AND ACCOMODATING, ID NEVER GO ANY WHERE ELSE.
