I hate going to the dentist, but Stillwater Family Dental made it easy. I HIGHLY recommend them. I went in for the first time last week and was blown away by the best customer service Ive ever experienced. The woman who checked me in stood up, introduced herself, and shook my hand. The hygienist did the same and then gave me a tour of the office before taking me to a room. While I waited, they gave me a welcome letter and gift as a thank you. They started by taking pictures and x-rays and asking questions like, "What are you most concerned about when visiting the dentist? Comfort, price, trust (and a few other options)" and "Do you prefer detailed or big picture information about your treatment?" And it was obvious they paid attention to my answers. I was told first appointments for new patients typically take 1.5 hours, but since I hadnt been in for a cleaning in a while, I ended up being there for three hours. The hygienist, Jenny, was wonderful. She could tell I was anxious and offered laughing gas or headphones so I could listen to music while she cleaned my teeth. I didnt get much face time with the dentist, Dr. Carlson, but she checked in several times and Jenny took such good care of me that it didnt matter. Stillwater Family Dental made my trip to the dentist a pleasant one, all things considered. I never felt judged or like an inconvenience. And I left with a nice gift, really clean teeth, and more information about my dental health than Ive ever had before. If youre nervous about going to the dentist (and even if youre not), I highly recommend Stillwater Family Dental.

We are not at all pleased with this business at all. Our contact information was purchased along with the full client list form Dr. Junker when he retired, but we were not notified until I asked how they got my information. They are trying to capitalize on services they identify as being needed. In my opinion, to cover the cost of a modern building and technology. So, we went in for a standard cleaning for my wife. They took many X-rays but did not clean her teeth but proceeded to charge my insurance for an annual visit. Our insurance, which covers 100% of one annual visit, paid all but $4.42. I have never seen His in the past and she now cannot go to a dentist for 12 months, unless we pay for it out of pocket. I told the office manager I will not be paying the $4.42 out of principle. They told me they, even though we are not satisfied, they will not erase the $4.42 and will allow it to go to collections. A quality business with good customer service would find a way to deal with this given a lost clients dissatisfaction. In a nut shell they recibed payment for our annual service, which was not performed, and want us to return to spend more money out of pocket. They are more concerned about their profits than retaining clients.

My husband and I are both new patients at Stillwater Family Dental. After our first appointments, we were both convinced that our visit was the best dental visit we have ever experienced and plan on being loyal patients for long to come. Immediately upon entering the office we received a very friendly greeting, and were checked in promptly. The entire staff was kind and warm. They were patient and thorough, taking time to address each issue, question, or concern we had. We were asked as new patients what we valued in our dental experience, and our answers were discussed and made note of for our visit. Any anxieties of the day quickly diminished. The atmosphere of the entire office is pleasant and professional, and every single person worked efficiently and cheerfully to make the visit as smooth as possible. The office itself was lovely, very clean, and very well put together. The technology pieces that they incorporated into the visit were great, and were the best I have seen in any local dental office. I highly recommend Stillwater Family Dental to anyone looking for a dental office to become a part of. Stillwater Family Dental has exceeded expectations for all elements of a dental care visit. The entire experience was wonderful.

The experience for my boys in terms of dental care and interaction with the dentist was just fine. However, I was concerned about their policy to charge for a cancellation within 24 hours. As a busy mom, sometimes something comes up and I do need to reschedule an appointment I have made. We went ahead with the appointments anyway (luckily, did not need to cancel). I mislaid the bill when the first one came, and when the second one came, there was a $25.00 "finance charge" on it, presumably for being late. This was for a 30.00 bill, so the "finance charge" was nearly 90% of what we owed. I work in the healthcare field and this is NOT standard practice, nor is charging for the need to reschedule. Ive written out the check in full and it will go in the mail tomorrow, but my family and I will not be returning to this clinic with questionalbe financial practices that are inconsistent with the community standard.

Ive been seeing Dr. Perpich on and off for about six years. Shes kind, attentive, and all around a great dentist. I was dissatisfied in recent visits with the office staff, however. I was kept waiting for around forty minutes the last visit, and when I switched dental offices (to one in my hometown) I sent a letter requesting that my records be forwarded and for them to contact me to verify itd been done. I didnt hear back for 3 weeks to a month, called and was told at first that they couldnt find my records, was told theyd call me back -- they didnt -- and so I called a week later. Just today they said theyd forward my records. So, some frustration with the staff, but Dr. Perpich is a wonderful dentist.

Everyone at Stillwater Family Dental has been wonderful! Im greeted by name and they remember my life details from the last appointment. They are quick, friendly, and thorough, but best of all, I feel they are honest with their treatment recommendations. It also helps that they arent judgemental when discussing your health history. Another thing I appreciate are the reminders. As a busy mom, its easy to forget a dentist appointment six months away. They send me a text and an email two weeks before, and then again five days before the appointment. Very helpful!

I have terrible anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. This was the first time I ever felt comfortable and at ease during a check-up. My dental hygienist, Carrie, was wonderful. I was greeted with smiles and left with a great smile of my own. I felt so confident about my visit that I went ahead and made a future appointment. If you have any anxiety with going to the dentist this is the place to go. They ask you your values and what makes you the most comfortable. Major plus they have TVs on the ceilings. The sterilization tech was cute too :)
