I had my LASIK procedure yesterday, and today I can see. This is easily one of the coolest things humans have figured out. I can already see as well as I could with my glasses yesterday (-4.75, -5.25). I have been VERY impressed with LasikPlus throughout the process! Dr. Ellis was great and made me feel very comfortable during the procedure and these folks have customer service absolutely nailed. A few examples: 1) Consultation was booked online and I was in to see Dr. Neil (who is very kind) within 12 hours of booking. 2) I got a call from Dr. Ellis two days prior to surgery and a few hours after the procedure to ensure I was comfortable and didnt have any more questions about the surgery. 3) My wife wasnt getting off work until 2 hours after I was scheduled to be done. Knowing that after the numbing drops wear off there is some discomfort (youll want to take a nap right away, but once you wake up from the nap its just dryness and no more discomfort) the staff shuffled my appointment around until my wife would arrive. They were almost to the minute perfect in their adjustments. The staff here is pleasant and the examinations and checks along the way are thorough and comprehensive in their explanations. I didnt do a lot of price comparisons along the way, just went for the highest rated folks around. Both eyes with the Wavefront laser were ~$3400, and I would say its totally worth the money already, and Im told my eyes will only get better over the coming weeks. In summary, I would HIGHLY recommend this place for their professionalism and courtesy throughout an unnerving process.

Pre-op Dr. Gans was recommended by my Ophthalmologist. Both he and Dr. Neil the optometrist are great. I went in for an evaluation and left with a packet of information and the price. I would recommend not wearing contacts for a couple weeks before your evaluation. I had to go back in for another measurement a couple weeks prior to surgery. My only complaint is that i would have like to speak with Dr. Gans prior to the day of the procedure. I think i would have been more at ease and felt better about my decision. Operation Dr. Gans is very good at making you feel at ease. He explains the procedure well before hand and he talks you through the procedure at each step. The uncomfortable part for me was the pressure placed on the eye when the flap is cut. I knew to expect some pressure but it to be as uncomfortable as it was. It is over very quickly however. My total procedure was probably 8min start to finish. The Lasik portion of that being about 30 second per eye. Post-Op After the surgery there is some burning and your vision is foggy, not too bad, and then you take a nap for a few hours. After the nap, very little irritation and you can see remarkably well. 1-week post-op and am happy with the results. I didnt experience any complications. So far so good. I would recommend Dr. Gans and Lasik Plus to others.

I would highly recommend anyone really think about this decision before making it! I was so excited to get Lasik eye surgery in hopes of never having to wear glasses or contacts again. First and foremost during my procedure they had trouble with the machine used to keep my eyes open which led to both of them filling with blood and they stayed this way for several weeks after causing extreme blurriness and discomfort. On top of that weeks after having the procedure I found out I was expecting. I never was informed that if I became pregnant after lasik that hormones change your eye vision. I had no idea of this and it would have been a nice side effect to know! If I had known this then I would have waited to get the procedure done. My vision has definitely reversed as I am now in my 8th month of pregnancy and cant even drive myself anywhere because I can barely see. I refuse to pay for glasses after spending so much money on this surgery. If you are expecting to become pregnant I would highly recommend you do not have this procedure done I cannot tell you how dissatisfied I am and it is one of my biggest regrets. Please consider all your options before you do this!

WOW I dont even know where to begin, I could go on all day about how amazing this is!!!! The entire process has been so easy. I had my first consultation about 3 weeks ago and now here I am post op and I am seeing almost 20/10!!!!! I didnt even know that was possible!!! The first few hours after the procedure was a little rough. I woke up so my eyes burning and tearing (I only slept 2 hours, I think most people manage to sleep through this). I was kind of panicky but knew it happened sometimes so I figured I was one of the lucky ones to get it. Took 2 sleeping pills, woke back up at 1 and BAM I COULD SEE AND MY EYES DIDNT HURT!! I am so thankful I made the decision to come here and they have the most affordable prices. The entire staff from the doctors to the receptionists are super nice and they make you feel comfortable from the get go. Dr. Gans talks you through the whole procedure so you know exactly what is going on and the whole thing only takes minutes. I am rambling but I hope this gives someone the confidence to make the decision to get Lasik, it is truly life changing. Thank you LasikPlus!!!!

5/31 Consult Appointment 6/1 Surgery 6/2 Follow up appointment Today 6/13 - perfect 20/20 vision!! I looked around and scheduled appointments at two different offices before visiting Lasik Plus - one of them was through Groupon and I was concerned after the attention I received over the phone and some of the reviews - then, I decided to call a place in Chesterfield and a couple of days after I scheduled my appointment they didnt even have my information when I called to confirm. Lasik plus was accurate, prompt, polite and answered all of my questions (they also offer super early/saturday appointments, in case you cant get time off work). I saw 3 different doctors at Lasik Plus (some people mind - I didnt - hey, 3 different medical opinions? Yes, please!!) I received instructions and information about what to expect and do after surgery - I wish I would have done this years ago - I never felt forced or tricked into anything and they offer financing options if you need them.

I have to admit I was petrified. Happy to say that I made an excellent decision going to LasikPlus. From beginning to end, I received top notch care & they made me feel very comfortable. This is absolutely not the cheapest place by far...but its your eyes, dont screw around. Went to another place on Ballas (LVinstitute) for consultation because they were alot less cost. Nope...didnt like anything about that office at all from staff to sending people through it like a cattle heard. Go read the first 2 google reviews they say the same. At LasikPlus Dr Neal is wonderful. Hes very thorough addressing all the mental emotions too. Dr Gans is extremely knowledgable does fab work, just lacks the bedside manor comparitively. I highly recommend them and do not reqret 1 minute of the surgery or cost. Just do it!

My surgery was performed just around 2pm today! The staff is great! They are very informative and really do a great job with making you feel comfortable with your procedure! The procedure was quick and painless and although a little cloudy at first I could see right away! I am AMAZED! Dr. Neil and Dr. Ellis were both wonderful and Dr. Ellis just called to check on me (its now 9pm)! Such a wonderful, talented and amazing team of people at LasikPlus and not only am I VERY happy I chose to have the procedure but I truly believe I couldnt have picked a better place to go! Truly EXCEPTIONAL service! If only all Dr. Offices had such a great team! Thank you guys so much! By the way, at just seven hours my cloudiness is almost completely gone, my eyes only feel slightly irritated and my vision is amazing!
