Had an appointment to look at a ganglion cyst on my hand. Had to wait over 2 hours to see Joe Verza. He confirmed it was a ganglion and when I asked what to be done he said the only thing I could do was surgery. I had looked up other remedies online, various different things, but one thing that stood out was constant pressure on the ganglion over 1-2 months and it would go away. I asked for a recommendation on a glove to use and something I could slide under it to have the pressure. He told me " I have no idea how you would fashion something like that". Well, I ended up getting a simple version of a carpel tunnel glove and slid a hard magnet over the ganglion spot and guess what? 1 month later and my ganglion is gone. Maybe it will come back at some point, but that is much better than having my hand out of commission for 4 weeks under surgery. Something simple as this and of course he wouldnt help me and wanted me to spend thousands of dollars on surgery. Highly unprofessional and I will be telling everyone about my experience.

I have experienced this facility and the work of Dr. Crockett three times. One being a shoulder surgery, one being a carpel tunnel surgery, those were for my husband.as a spouse I was treated with upmost respect and consideration. My husband had professionalism and both surgeries went very well. The last surgery was for me myself. Again Iwent to Dr. Crockett because of my trust level. He again with the help of his staff made it as good an experience as it could be.I value their knowledge, cleanliness, professionalism and if any of my family need any other surgeries or help. We will be going back to New West. Thank you new west and of course the surgery center. I believe it is called heartland.

My experience was horrible felt like I was being rushed and nobody would listen to me...its my right ankle that is messed up and everyone kept saying left ankle and they even put left ankle treatment on my chart...waste of time and would not recommend seeing that Dr to anyone...he didnt even look at the x-rays just told me to wear a Brace and go to PT 3 times a week for 6 weeks...um not gonna happen Im heading to Lincoln to get another opinion.

While I have always been treated well by the staff at New West I have never had an appointment here where we didnt wait over an hour to get in. It seems like wait times are the biggest complaints from other users as well. Its a shame this doesnt seem to be a concern for the folks that work at the facility. Respecting others time should also be a priority.

100% would recommend Dr. Mahalek and his staff. I have had over 10 surgeries with other providers and I will say this is by far the best experience I have ever had. I had my questions answered and had them responded in a timely fashion. Thank you DR. MAHALEK AND GWEN!!!

Waited two hour for them to tell me I need surgery then when it came to schedule the surgery it had to be approved through work comp and after work comp approved it I tried to get ahold of the scheduler for 2 weeks and Im still waiting to get it scheduled

My surgery went well but for Christ sakes have a hold line for your phone line! I have tried calling for 45 minutes 12 times to be exact and it rings busy! At least have an email address on your website to send a question to.

The wait time is ridiculous! A total of 2 1/2 hours for my husbands appointment. The doctors and staff are great but the time is huge factor of why I gave my rating.
