I am giving 1 star because of the horrible customer service from front desk at the Somersworth Office! They are unwilling to work with the customer to reschedule appointments when a mistake has been made somewhere, when you call to make an apt they dont even bother to check when the last apt was (I am a full time employee and mother of 2 kids, time is precious and I depend on the specialty offices and their records to assist me with schedules) and just schedule an appointment, which has resulted in wasted time because my insurance states 1 apt every 2 yrs. Due to a schedule problem we have been flat out told we were wrong and they turn you away, flat out accuse you of being wrong, having unclear insurance and not even bothering to reschedule the appointment. No call to confirm apt, they rely on one single text reminder that doesnt even ask you to confirm the apt day/time, no cards given for future appointments, (we were told they dont do that any longer), make appointments and then they mysteriously go missing from the computer system or accuse the customer of writing down the wrong time for their apt, that was verbally confirmed 3 times over the phone. We are considering going elsewhere for our eye care needs which is too bad because Dr. Charles Lafrenier is very thorough, explains everything and is a great eye care professional.

Have been going here since 1999, the Dr. Is very knowledgeable, and if your prescription hasnt changed they say so. Also when husband was sick I took his glasses in several times to get straightened etc., without him and they always fixed them with a smile.

Dr LaFreniere and their staff are top notch. The doctor is friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable and the equipment is state of the art. I highly recommend!
