HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!! This is my first time writing a review, I have never felt the need to express my bad experience anywhere. EASTERN DENTAL on the other hand, if i could give -5 STARS I would!! My family and I have been a patient for a few years now. About two months ago I needed to mark an apt. I called everyday!! I mean everyday!!! and never got anyone on the line. So I decided to switch dentist. But I needed to get copies of my X-rays, since my insurance wouldnt cover them since they had been done within the year. So I was back at it. Calling everyday Til finally lovely Jessica answered. She explained that the reason why no one answer was because they were short staffed. I explained how I needed my chart and x-rays. and understood she would need a couple of days to gather this up and give me call when it was ready. Two weeks passed, so I called, apparently my file was sitting at her desk and she wasnt sure if i still needed them. Well of course I did!! I never called back to say I didnt. She told me to call back wednesday 10-14-2015 to make sure everything was ready to be pick up. 10-14-2015 I called and Jessica mentioned everything was ready. I arrived at the office and had to wait 20 mins because there was a line out the door and only 2 people at the front desk. Well when it was my turn Jessica mentioned how she didnt have time to find my x rays. Couple mins later she said they were lost. I asked to speak to a manager her response "WE HAVE NO MANAGER" with a nasty attitude. I ask to speak to someone above her which seemed to be the finance dept. Once again explain my situation to this new person and I told her I needed my x-rays or a letter saying they were lost and they would be responsible for any charges. 10-20-2015 I made another visit to the office praying they had my x rays. Jessica refused to show me my x ray before I signed an agreement saying I had them. I told her i would once I confirmed all were there since she said they were lost last wednesday. and it went back and forth til i threaten them to call the police. UNPROFESSIONAL isnt even the word!!

Im a member of a union that recently elected to sign on to Eastern Dentals insurance plan for all of our members and their families. This was supposed to save us a lot of money annually and provide more services to our members. The down side is that we can only use ED locations. After reading these reviews and having my own horrible experience while bringing my 9 year old child here, Im really sad that we switched. My daughter was afraid. She had a cavity and knew that this would mean pain (a shot). The Dentist actually had the nerve to call her RUDE for being quiet and attempt to correct her for not being polite and saying hi. I was so SHOCKED that I sat there in disbelief. I now wish I would have given him a good tongue lashing but I was expected him to promptly have tools in my daughters mouth so I wasnt trying to escalate the situation. HE was rude and unaccommodating. After a quick view of the cavity (This wasnt a check-up, we made an appt because she was in pain) he says hes about to leave and well need to make another appt for the actual work. WHAAAATTTT ? I said "Shes IN PAIN, I made the appt to get it fixed, not for you to LOOK, I took off of work, its an EMERGENCY" -- to which he then replied, " You can always go somewhere else, but of course your insurance will not pay for it" --- I WAS DUMBFOUNDED. What a horrible excuse to abuse people --- were stuck with them as a provider so PHUCK YOU, basically. We waited 2 weeks for that appt, took off from work, pulled her out of school for him to LOOK at it-- acknowledge that it was serious then tell us to make another appt to fix it.... which they scheduled a MONTH later. It is absolutely ridiculous. My daughter left there in TEARS begging to return to her old Dr. I was also given the same bull line about being short staffed---- how are you still short staffed after so many years??? HIRE PEOPLE! apparently you have plenty of patients. Up the quality of your care because this is crazy. Woodbridge is a great community and we deserve better.

UNETHICAL.. preformed a treatment and only told me after it was done that it wouldnt be fully covered by insurance. Actual dentists are nice..only reason I gave a 2 star is because they know what they are doing Receptionists are unenthusiastic unless they are talking to each other about their day, but when you come in or ask a question they give a very bland response and almost seem mad that you are speaking to them. Currently sitting here for over an hour when everyone in the room has been treated including people who walked in 10 min ago because they scheduled me too early for an appointment with a different doctor. TIME IS MONEY PEOPLE, if your going to waste mine at least be courteous to keep a client.. this is by far my last time here My feedback- friendliness goes a long way... if you were friendly a lot of your complaints would go away, and you wouldnt have negative reviews because we would be more understanding of your day to day problems.. However since you dont care about ours, we wont care about yours as customers

From professional experience as a Dental Assistant for over five years and visit/worked in many dental practices in Central Jersey. Eastern Dental isnt a bad dental office as many individuals point it out to be. Their staff is super professional starting from "Veronica Tamariz" , I called for an emergency tooth ache and she did the best to fit me in, and extremely professional and knowledge with dental procedures. Secondly, the hygienist "Irena" is also very professional and she did a great cleaning, she really cleans your teeth , not just a little touch-up. I noticed individuals complain about billing issues etc., all you need to do is call your dental insurance company and verify your coverages etc., thats called smart shopping! I will continue to go to this location as Im very please with their services. I was treated well and with the utmost professionalism from this office. Continue providing excellent service Eastern Dental!

This was my first experience with Eastern dental and it was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The dentist was VERY rude and incredibly insensitive! He made a comment, "someone must have missed the orthodontic train." why in hell would you say that to a patient? Yes, my teeth are a little crooked but thats no way to talk to a patient. The Hygienist was unfriendly and very rough. The staff just seemed miserable and even the woman who I made my appointment with was rude which should have been a red flag. My bill was ridiculous. I called other area dentist after the fact and was quoted for A LOT less then what Eastern Dental is charging me. Eastern dental did not tell me the cost until after they went ahead and did the work. I regret not doing my research in the first place and definitely will be going elsewhere for future dental work.
