Buyer beware. They do themselves and their patrons a disservice - the dental care is excellent but the "loan officers" who take your payments are deceitful and scary. They tried to trick us into an extra 6000+ dollars of non-essential (cosmetic) work mixed in with important dental work and a hidden charge for an expensive electronic toothbrush. If you go there and they try to sign you up for a payment plan, think twice and also make sure that you are aware of every single charge on the sheet and what its purpose is. Not only that but they tried to lock us into one of these payment plans without our full understanding of what was happening. Thank god we asked a thousand questions and stepped away before getting swindled. To boot, we were given unsolicited financial advice NOT related to the dental expenses, which is reckless and I would recommend to Dr. Sultan that he train his support staff to not advise people to sign up for credit cards. I was completely appalled and we will no longer be coming there. We will tell everyone in the community to make sure to steer clear until the issues of honesty and transparency in payment for services have been amended. Such a shame that your good dental work is clouded with dishonesty. -------- EDIT, in response to the business owners response: I am very aware of my partners dental situation and I am in fact the one who encouraged him to come back to you for his follow-up visit to his first one back in the fall. Dental care is very important to overall health, and we will be going to a business that emphasizes the care of its patients over the importance over the wealth of its business. We were both very impressed with the dental care itself, as I mentioned in my initial comment. The dental technicians are sweethearts and great at what they do. I am also 100% aware, as you yourself even admitted, Angela, that the 6000 dollars of cosmetic work was not essential dental work. What we were left with, when all that was stripped out, was a much smaller sum for important dental work. Of course, we hadnt been informed of what those charges were for before you were already pushing to lock us into a year to 18 months of charges. I dont care if its 0% interest, because you were trying to rip us off for 6000 dollars... So, pretending that we are being negligent in not getting LOCKED into 18 months of payments to you for cosmetic work is just another example of your manipulations as an office manager. To everyone who actually read this far - I almost never take the time to write reviews unless I have had a particularly awful or incredible experience. I would never tarnish the name of a business unless I was genuinely frightened by their business tactics. "SCARY" definitely stands in reference to the business end of things.

My experience with the Bogota Dental Center staff has been amazing. Ive always had insecurities about my teeth. Lets also mention that I HATED GOING TO THE DENTIST. I was always scared and due to that, stopped seeing a dentist for a VERY long time. For about 5 years Ive run away from the idea of sitting in a dental office chair. Soli is an AMAZING hygienist.. incredibly skilled and lovely person. She took the time to teach me how to floss properly and kept me very informed of everything she was doing while cleaning my teeth. Shes always available to answer any questions or concerns that I may have. Ive had a gap all my life and my two front teeth were longer than the rest.. kind of like a bunny. Everyone always told me I looked cute & that it was what made me unique, but I never smiled in any photos because of my insecurity. I never thought I could afford to get veneers, until Dr. Sherzoy saw me. I was able to get four veneers at an affordable price and I must say that this has been one of the best decisions Ive ever made. I love my smile! I will certainly be smiling in ALL my photos from now on! The experience was comfortable and did not give me any form of anxiety. Dr. Sherzoy is extremely gifted and prepared in the area of dentistry, and he has chosen the best staff Ive ever encountered. Everyone is so happy and helpful in this office, and you most definitely feel at home when coming to the dentist... something everyone doesnt think could ever happen at a dental office!

I had a dental emergency on a Friday afternoon. I had broken a tooth that lacerated my tongue and the pain was excruciating. Dr. Sherzoy saw me immediately and had me out of pain in no time. After the prompt service I received I decided to let them give me a free second opinion on some other dental work I had gotten quotes for. Their price was $10,000.00 less than what another local dentist was going to charge me. The staff was courteous and very informative on my treatment. They worked with me and got me on a very affordable payment plan. I was amazed at all the crazy equipment they have there. In one visit they scanned my mouth with some kind of laser thingamajig and minutes later I actually watched my new tooth being cut from a solid block of material. I had my doubts but when they put it in it matched and fit perfectly. All my work has been done an I look and feel great. I have recommended Bogota Dental Center to my family and friends and those who have been there have thanked me for referring them. **BONUS** The dental center also thanks me with $75.00 in my account for everyone I refer to them. Doesnt look like Ill be paying for my cleanings any time soon. The only recommendation I could make is they need to expand the parking lot as it was packed, especially in the late afternoon. Other than that I can only say its a top shelf dental practice and the doctors & staff were great. Thanks again! Bret Kelly Hackensack, NJ

I must first say that I was nervous about going to a new dental practice but all that dissolved away at my first visit. Actually it began before I got there through my initial conversation with the receptionist. I was treated as a valued client from the outset and was very pleased with all my interactions with various staff members. The X-ray procedure was skillfully and kindly handled and was truly the most comfortable full-mouth X-ray I have ever experienced. Dr. Manji and Carla were simply amazing at putting me at ease. I was also very impressed with the high level of respectfulness they exhibited in communicating with each other throughout my subsequent treatments. Generous use of please and thank you among them felt so positive and re-assuring. It spoke volumes of their solid commitment to being excellent in their professions. The cleanliness of the entire office and the state-of-the art facilities and equipment were very re-assuring and impressive to behold. I also truly appreciate the opportunity to participate in a no-interest payment plan, while getting my dental house back in order. I commend Jessica for providing a very positive approach to assisting me with the financial aspects of my treatment. I would not hesitate to refer any friend or relative to this practice! What a great find!

WOW!! What more can I say. I spent time looking for a dentist realizing I would need to do some extensive work for the purpose of getting implants,fillings and a whitening. From the moment I walked into the Bogota Dental Center office, the staff could not have been more professional. Martha was extremely thorough in defining my treatment and financial options. Although I was reluctant, I went for it and could not be more happier. I started my work in May and will be done in the next month or so. There are no long waits for appointments. I was even more impressed when Martha, even on her day off, responded to make sure she booked my appointment. The office itself presents a caring and calming atmosphere; not common quite frankly in the dental offices I freqented in the past. The rooms are equipped with TVs and state of the art equipment. How many dentist offices offer you a pillow for your head, a TV remote and even a cup of coffee? ! Most importantly, it is so evident that Dr. Sherzoy is the consummate of dentistry and takes great pride not only in his profession, but in handpicking the most professional representaitves for his office. I would recommend Dr. Sherzoy to anyone I know. If you are considering work, do not think twice, you will NOT be disappointed.
