I was hired by Dr. Donati late June 2009. I had just graduated from Dental Assisting School 2 weeks prior. Because he owned his own practice he only cared if I had my Radiology License and ot didnt bother him that I failed chairside. I worked 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri) sometimes I would have to work a Wednesday or one Saturday a month. Okay no big deal I finally get to do something that I love doing (which is why I went to school in the first place) his oldest Assistant Victor was alot of help training me on what "Doc" liked to use and how each procedure he does is set up in the room prior to bringing back the patient. While I was there I did my duties as I was trained by the oldest Assistant or at least I thought I was doing a good job. Now Keep in mind that I was diagnosed with Scoliosis in 1997 so I was told to keep an eye out on it if I am doing too much and feel my back start to burn or feel it isnt normal to take a break for 5 mins and maybe some Tylenol and see how that goes. Which Dr. Donati was aware of during my interview with him. In the meantime I was training the reseptionist how to be a Dental Assistant due to her going to night achool for Radiology to get her license. (I figured with his son graduating soon he is going to need mors assistants) boy was I wrong because come March of 2010 he decided to "lay me off because he could no longer afford to keep me on" okay no big deal I put in plenty of time to collecr unemployment. At first he kept denying me my unemployment when I tried to file but because I had my daughter he wasnt allowed to refuse me my money that I worked and sweated for. I was finally able to get my unemployment and years later I find out that the real reason I was let go is because he was firing me because I was to lazy. So he either lied to me or lied to whomever he was talking to. Now I dont care how amazing of a job he does with his Dentistry he isnt a boss I would want to work for ever again. If your going to fire me than come out and say it not be a p***y and beat around the bush with it, Im a big girl I have been fired befpre so I can handle it lmao!!! In that kind of short time I worked for him NOT ONE CELEBERTY came in for an emergancy while they were in Atlantic City. So who knows if he lied about being "The Dentist To The Stars" or not because I sure as hell didnt believe him.

I have recently become a Patient at Bayside Medical & Dental Center. I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of both Dr.s as well as their Hygienist Heather. I also like their referral level. Their diagnostic tools seem state of the art. Very thorough professionals. Aside from the Dentist sand Hygienist, the office staff are welcoming, warm and professional. The office and waiting area are clean and pleasant to be in. I ran an office for over 35 years and am glad that I have such competent people looking after me.

I was appalled to read the two previous reviews. I have been treated by Dr. Donati since 1994. My family has experienced everything from cavities to caps without ever an incident. I have found the two Dr. Daves` to be quite professional and effective not to mention Heather their Hygienist. You want a good teeth cleaning Heather is the TICKET! And one more thing, his firm is exclusively used by the casino entertainers should they have any issues while in town. Ask Marie Osmond etc.

Too say D. Donati does not care is an understatment. All he is interest in is passing his patients to his son who is a recent graduate and I feel has no experience. I am seeking legal council against him for what i feel is a botched perm. bridge causing me to loose two more teeth.

I used to dread going to the dentist, until we started going to Dr. Donati. He is wonderful and so is his staff. Such and amazing father and son team. My family actually looks forward to our appointments with them.

Donatis son fixed my tooth(wrong) , but two weeks later , same tooth hurts me horrible,and I called them for emergency and they dont answer my call and never call me back, they dont care about their patients
