The doctors and staff really do a great job! Yes, the doctor can be running late on appointments, however she spends as much time as needed with each patient, so that does require some time and patience. Any vet worth their salt, youd have to wait for. And, yes, they are not taking on new patients at this time, but the receptionist on duty will always recommend others for you. You have to understand that the office is extremely busy and they may not always have the time to chat with you, emergencies happen on a daily basis. Imagine if you came to work, and every other week some anonymous person has dumped a box of cats at your door?!! Dr. Jan and entire staff have to put up with a LOT of crap from the outside world, give them a break! For those of you with an emergency that she cannot handle, go to GSVS on Rt 27 in Iselin, they are also great. Just Cats is an outstanding veterinary practice.

The care that I got at this vet has been nothing short of exceptional. Some years ago I tried to get into this place when they were at a different location and was told that they were so full they were not accepting new patients. They are always busy which certainly points to a successful business and dedicated customers. In spite of that I never had a difficult time getting an appointment. The doctors and staff sincerely care about their patients. This is evident in everything they do and how the facility is managed. I had a 19 year old geriatric cat with quite a few problems so I had a lot of interaction with the vet. I dont think I could have asked for better care and when it was time to let go this too was handled with the utmost care.

The best and most reasonable vet in NJ. You can tell a good vet when the doctor lets you stay in the exam room with your pet. Dr. Jan is an exceptional vet. You cant find a more caring, compassionate, understanding vet in NJ. What will cats do without her when she retires?

I couldnt even get an emergency appointment. I was left on hold a long time, and told I couldnt be seen until next week! I felt the receptionist was snobby and actually told me to go to another vet if I needed a sooner appointment. I will not use this vet ever.
