I recently brought my Maltese puppy for a visit to get his second shot, while the vet who never introduced himself examined my puppy. He was trying to actually fund things wrong with him, my puppy is teething so two of his teeth didnt fall out yet instead of explaining the process of his teeth coming out he says he has a infection! One of my puppys testicle didnt drop yet instead of thoroughly feeling for it he said hes going to contact cancer, and his testicle is there it just didnt drop yet & he has up until six months for it to drop out at that time itll be considered a problem. The vet also said my puppy had a ear infection because he had a little wax on his hairs in his ear which is normal for my breed to have a little wax every now & then if hes not freshly groomed. Im not just saying these things, I was being cheap & went to try this place out & got what I paid for! Once I took my puppy back to his original vet he answered all of the concerns I was told from this place & its unbelievable how I was mislead & alot to get ripped off I wouldve left there spending close to $200.00 instead I ended up spending around $60.00. If your looking for quality care for your pet stay away from this place its very unprofessional & misleading, the Vet looks tired & dirty, he has some kind of breakout on his lips looks contagious!An hes very aggressive with the pets & not to mention rude, I just came back from my vet & I was waiting to write a review once I verified what I was told & like I thought it wasnt my puppy it was this Vet.Vip animal clinic is right on broad st across from Wendys take your pet there & ask for Dr. Tony its family owned & they really care & provide great honest care for your pet this place was the worst my next step is to contact the better business bureau .I hope the staff reads this & make some changes or get out of town!!!

Lleve a mi cachoro a vacunarlos, pero la ultima vez que lo lleve lo vacuno y mi perro eran tan peludo que cuando llegue a casa estaba lleno de sangre fue horrible, despues me entere que le puso una vacuna no era necesario ponerle porque el tenia otras que le habia suministrado, despues me dio en junio 13 una pastilla llamada heartworm para parasito se la di ese di, pero cuando lo lleve en junio final otra vez, para la vacuna le da la misma pastilla otra vez no habia pasado los treinta dias suerte no se la di cda vacuna que le administra yo busco informacion en la internet pero hubo una que no era necesaria y despues que mi perro sangro con una vacuna lo prefiero llevar a otro veterinario y hay cosas que no me convence ademas la secretaria pesa los perrito y no te dice cuando pesa y el papel que da no hay el peso del perro lo llevo a en otro lugar donde me dan la confianza

Straight off the bat do not go here!!! When my dad first showed me this Pet Hospital or what ever you call it I sensed bad vibes and I was right!!! When me and my family went to the place on the day he would get his spot he told me it cost $20. That didnt seem legit to me and I kept saying it over and over, on the phone the guy talked with my dad he wouldnt act like a kind person. My dog wouldnt stop barking ever since he saw the Hospital, please dont ever go here looking by other reviews he couldve gotten sick infected or yourself overcharged. Please go to VIP Pet Hosptal across Wendys in Elizabeth. Its a family owned Vet Hospital they will take the best care for youre pets. I myself saved my dog from a bad decision and so can YOU!!!

I had a very BAD experience in this place. My dog had a surgery because of a lump on his neck so I took him here a while back and was hoping my dog would survived but he didnt. I called the doctor and he didnt answer at first and then when he finally answered, I told him my dog passed away right after he did surgery to my dog and I was explaining to him and it seemed like he didnt care and was trying to avoid me for some reason. Please stay away from this place. Then I took him to VIP animal hospital in Elizabeth for him to get cremated and they treated me very well. I highly recommend VIP animal hospital in Elizabeth.

if i could give this place ZERO stars i would! Horrible place ever, please people dont take your animals to this vet. He is the worst ever. Charged me almost $200 and did nothing. I called him to asked him why my dog wasnt getting better and he rudely said he couldnt help and hung up on me. I ended up going to a new place in Roselle Park on 2nd Ave. This is the best doctor, she charged me less with XRAYS and we were able to find the problem. I will fight and hope the state of NJ closes this ELIZABETH VET HOSPITAL!!

I brought in my dying kitty and he told me she might not make it but he still gave me all the possible treatments to keep her alive and she made it!! She got sick again with a liver infection so I brought her back in and with the medicine he prescribed and the food she was able to recover quick and now shes better than ever!.

I only recently moved to NJ and needed a new vet for my 2 dogs and 2 cats. Decided to go to the one closest to my house for convenience. I dont have any complaints! Doctor was quick and on point .with all of my pets. I will definitely come back! Very good prices. No waiting time which doesnt happen often.

My dog was treated for Parvo here. The other hospital i went to said my dog wasnt going to make it but after a couple of days at the Elizabeth Veterinary Hospital, he made a complete turn around. He just turned a year old and is in good health. The prices are also very reasonable. Great Vet !

Took my dog in for surgery about 2 years ago. I was told her eye surgery would lead to using eye drops for the rest of her life. However there was a small chance if the surgery was done successfully she would not need it. 2 years now her eye is fine and she does not need any eye drops.

Cheap but not worth it. The vet wanted to take an X-ray of my dogs leg for limping. My dog has a torn ligament, which any vet would be able to recognize. X-rays are for bones, not tissue. I was about to get ripped off, but luckily went to another vet.

Well i went to take my dog to get his shots and give him a medication so he can eat better and when we got home he was back to his normal self and the next day he started to show that he was hurt on one of the side they give him a shot
