They scheduled an evaluation with their speech therapist who was very pregnant (due any day) and did not call me until I was almost in the parking lot. I live almost an hour and half away. The receptionist didnt seem to care as she said she just found out 20 minutes prior - well why didnt you call me 20 minutes earlier? She then only offered an apology, and could have at least offered to reimburse me for my travel expenses since it was their error. Then, I got lost in Louisville trying to find my way out and had to endure a nearly 2 hour ride home because of traffic. As a result of their unprofessional decisions in their scheduling and their unprofessional response to their actions, I would recommend that you proceed with caution if you decide to utilize this office. Talk about a bad first impression.....

Dr. Judith Axelrod and her staff are amazing. They have been an integral part of our sons development. Dr. Axelrods credentials and expertise are incredible and she is very thorough. She uncovered things that our regular pediatrician could not. I spoke with many doctors and specialists before coming to Square One. I spent hours doing research and read reviews of many practices. Each staff member has something different to bring to the table. Need speech therapy? They have it. Need academic planning or IEP help? They have it. Need testing? They can do it. Louisville has many self proclaimed "experts" in learning difference. When you really start digging, you find they dont have the credentials or the time in practice to be experts. Do your research Louisville!
